Chemdog 91 in week 4 of flower looking awful. Not sure what is going on. Never had so many problems till I went from cme to led. This is FFOF been using FF nutes & cal mag. May have gone a little low on ph? Thanks for any help!

Not sure of much other than a pic and a mention of a broad range of nutes.
If you are in soil and using FF 2 part and on this schedule let me know how long ago you did the flush with SledgHammer. We see this a lot with that nute choice, dunno why it's in the schedule.

If your grow is not that let us know all the stuff medium, lights with ppfd ( led got that) feed method amendments all the stuff.

Either theyre not getting all the nutes they need or you caused a nute lockout because of the PH. Just my 2 cents, thats the first thing that I would look into, might not be that. The more info you give the more accurate we can be trying to diagnose.

That leaf is either burnt by nutrients or the PH. You might be having excess and deficiencies at the same time in which case Im sure its the PH. In any case wait for more people to chime in because I might be wrong.
When you said you might have gone a little low with the PH, how low is that?

I checked ppfd it was in range but I will check again. I have been using this feed schedule but only Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom, Grow Big. Also open sesame, beasty blooms, cha ching. Have been using 1 tsp/gal cal mag. Feeding 2 times par week. No sledgehammer flush.

There are many charts of nutrient availability based on ph, some are slightly different than others but I always choose one that tends to be similar to most of them. While weed can perfectly handle 5,5ph the nutrient absorption will be altered and it might lead to nutrient umbalance in the soil, some nutrients block others from being absorved and others are absorved in bigger quantities than optimal.

Since that chart is not specific for weed and to clarify, in soil you want 6,2 ph for veg and 6,5 for flower. 6,5 for all the grow works too. 7 works if youre using microorganisms but its not the most optimal for micronutrients.

So no sledge hammer. Multiple deficiencies and lowering pH.
Immo qualify this with I grow Organic and not chemical ferts. I do know I have seen this a lot with 2 major times being a pattern in that nute line. You covered one with amending with cal-mag. The second one is a buildup that fox farms Knows happens and at week 4 and 8 they recommend the flush be done to reduce the possibility of this happening.
Not sure if that's your big issue but I seen the pattern for a while.

Yes, I was gonna comment on that too. If they tell you to flush 2 times before the final flush, must be because they know you get salt accumulations. He is not using all the supplements but still, good point.

Might be a good idea to buy sledgehammer and do a flush. Epsom salts work for flushing too but sledgehammer might be designed so they dont get completely depleted of nutrients despite the flush so it would be better to use that.

Okay I took a look at the sledgehammer composition. It has yucca extract, I must assume thats so your microorganisms dont die with the flush. Even if youre not supplementing microorganisms some should come with the soil and might still be around.
Taking a look at what yucca extract is used for in google gives me this:
Yucca extract enhances the microbial activity in soil, creating an environment that fosters beneficial bacteria and fungi.

Wow lots of good info, THANKS! I did go 5.8 on ph several times, maybe the main issue. Should I flush with 6.5 ph water? I don't plan to get sledgehammer.

Ok you have refered to a biological microbial activity that takes place in an Organic grow, you have instant available chemical ferts in those bottles. After the flush and dry back the nutes you put in a ready available. They will not need conversion.

Isnt fox farm organic? Sure they put stuff like phosphoric acid to facilitate the intake of nutrients but even fox farms soil comes with microorganisms by default and their liquids are designed to feed them. Also google confirmed my suspicion that sledgehammer is not only flushing agent but also a feeding agent for the microorganisms that come with the soil or that you might be supplementing.

If you dont use a flushing agent like epsom salts or sledgehammer youre not gonna get rid of the salts. You should flush at 6,5 ph yes and after flushing you should reintroduce some nutrients.
