Anyone ever have any luck reattaching and healing a large branch that broke clean off? I’ve successfully mended plenty of partially broken branches, but never one that was completely severed.

Freak thunderstorm with 30mph winds ripped through the field this afternoon and tore off a near 7’ branch at the base from one of my golden tigers! Somehow missed securing that one to a stake. Hit it with honey, wrapped in wet jute, staked/duct taped it and said a few prayers! Thinking I should probably just remove it and take clones!!

Some veggies as well, mostly regs so ill be thinning them out ✌️

Finally got some pics of the outdoor. The small autos are a sacred kush and a Hindu Kush(18 days old) The bigger 2 are 3rd generation clones of black sugar.the one on the deck needs a drink and a trim but other than that I’m very pleased with how they are doing since I live over an hr away. And only get to check on them a few times a month.

Little update, things looking good. Had to top two of them on like 4 spots cause the tops were taller than the rest of the plant by like 5-6 inches. Hoping the others catch up to the new ones.

I found the same thing! Two or three weeks or even more in the spring doesn’t amount to anything in the fall! Still shooting pool on Wednesday nights, Jimmie?
Thursday’s Chucky. Won 2 weeks ago. Might hit bike night a couple towns over tonight. Traffic is so fucked up, might not do it. 20 min ride is like an hr plus with traffic.

Right on! That’s why my brother listed his place in SoCal and is heading this way! One of many reasons!😁
It’s a nightmare here. Can’t go west after 3:30. Only two roads in and out. Had a bad accident once, took 6 hrs to get back to my shop. Took 2 hrs to get through one traffic light, unbelievable!

Have you tried coconut water? I haven't yet but I think I will next year.

You know that's funny you say this. I have a dumb story. Bought some coconut flour when it was new and popular to bake with it. Well needless to say it's hard! So the bag I bought went bad . Got forgotten about in the cupboard , yadda yadda. So I tossed it in the dirt or rather used it as a soil amendment outside , planted some cucumbers where I put it! Omg they were the best most tasty cucumbers I ever ate! Haven't been able to replicate that tasty cucumber since . Definitely want to try it again!

My experimental LST ladies.
Plant #1 = Blueberry (Oakley's Special)
Plant #2 & #3 = Bruce Banner
I'm just tying the taller stuff down and trying to keep the canopies somewhat even. So I guess its right. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ They also get sporadic shade throughout the day, so less sunlight which is helping to keep them a little smaller than my others. They're kinda cool looking so far.
