I have lighters from "Occupied Japan", aside from everywhere else in the world. But back then their tourist junk like "japaned" lighter sets and tables and stuff went for big $. Still big with some collectors.

Been a trying week for sure. Pop got admitted to the hospital for bad clots in his leg, put him in ICU and fitted him with a pace maker. So I had to put my life on pause and go look after my alzheimers mother two counties over. She's fine just glitches out every once in a while so she can't be left alone. But I haven't seen my plants except for a quick trip up to the house on Sunday to see how tortured the garden looks, and fortunately it's not too bad. I haven't been around to nurse a couple special needs plants so they're gonna be a write off, not the end of the world. On the one hand it sucks, you know, not being in your own routine at your own dig, but on the other hand it's a blessing I am glad I am able to enjoy, to have that time with her.

Me: Nothing, Mom. It just helps me relate more on your level, that's all.

Nice thing about not seeing your garden for a week is coming back to see how much growth there was.
