At least in our area, and id imagine close to yours as well that when the moisture comes it’s cold enough for them not to survive long? Maybe? You read that right? Right!?🤣
yes your message doesn’t make sense but the brain link got it across 🤣

I know skeeters breed when it’s hot, can they not survive the cold? or is it like wasps where they just can’t move that fast when it’s cool

Thats kind of what i was thinking. Sure it rains and they can hatch or whatever but they’ll be flying out into 30 degree weather! If they survive that we’re all doomed!🤣

yeah my brain is beyond racked and spent! im not making much sense to myself these days either! 😂 im blaming it on the solar flares! 💀🤣😂

✌️

I’ve never gotten bitten up as much as other people either! One of the benefits of being half dead!😂👍
I rarely do or it's a non issue when it happens. Our doctor told us my wife has Skeeter Syndrome, no shit that's what's it called. For some reason they tear her up. She's been stung by wasps and hornets and although painful and she swells it's not crazy like it is with mosquitos.
Strange.

Yeah, it is! Every individual reacts a little differently! Kind of like pot plants! I’ve been up to Sierra‘s when the skeeters were so bad that my arms were bloody from me wiping them all over! But the rainbows were hitting so I would real one in, drop the pole, smeared blood all over myself, then cast again! Not none the worse for wear from it!😍✌️

The ones when I was in the Philipines would land on top of the Jeepneys and bloooommmm there goes the tires. Poor little guy would have get out and change them while we watched. Of course the one closest to the jungle was sacrificed for appeasement.

Had..some visitors in the garden, today.
Checking on the girls tonight, after work . And look who hopped by.

Haven't seen these in awhile. Damn things.! Just show up outta nowhere. Used to tear up the alpha fields, at the farm. 😠

Pretty little buggers! Even though they tear you up! The hoppers here are tiny! All they do is mark up the leaves a little! Not a thang!😁

Yeah I'm seeing an unusually large amount of them in my region this year. Getting a few leaves being torn up. If I see one I like to thump it really hard. Pretty sure it hurts. LOL!!!

Do you grow them outdoors ? I grew Autos last fall. The plants were beautiful, Purple buds..etc. They were super strong but I got very small yields. It was work it to see them grow, because I enjoy it so much. Where do you grow them?
Yeah I grow them outdoors. I do a crop in the Spring that harvests in June and I do another in the Fall to harvest early November. My yields typically have been 2-3 ounces per plant. Switched to granular amendments this year and the buds were far more dense but the yield was smaller. Probably my fault because I was transplanting them which is a no no. So this time the nursery is outdoor and there's no transplanting. S o hopefully that will help. They are fun to grow. Just very temperamental the first few weeks.
