Wife has fill 2 one gallon ziplocks and froze em already, last tallest we got 7 or 8 of em, I’m expecting much more this year, I’ve been feeding them and spreading them out, wife makes a smoothie for each of us a day and uses like a cup and a half to make em, plus chai seeds, some other seeds, bananas and she also makes her own homemade yougurt, made from milk from a local dairy I’ve lived by my whole life, gets delivered old school in the big ol milk truck weekly she does the whole deal and makes about 6 quarts a week, lots of smoothies haha we get our ice cream from them too, delicious ice cream too
It’s not even fully sealed, we keep the bread cut faces either pointed down or covered in parchment paper, we go though a load of each every 3 days and she cooks more, the cookies stay good for at least a week like that, wont even go stale, they’ll stay chewy till there gone lol
Also… my wife bought it, so im about 200% sure it came from Amazon
Collecting jars for tomatoes is the challenge nowadays though haha, $23 a case for quart jars, I mean we have tons of cases and cases we use for crushed tomatoes (we can them all crushed and make everything fresh from that, pasta sauces, pizza sauces, use for chili etc etc, but we always need more (plus curing jars ) peppers get sliced deseeded and frozen, still have a bunch from last year and wife used them in soups all year since harvest lol

Yeah beach is pretty worth leaving the house for! in her defense, you guys have a really nice space you’ve created! I would be stuck in the backyard and basement! id come out for frozen yogurt though!
Just finished one cycle and now I want to reuse the soil. I have Four , three gallon pots .
The soil had started composed of : 70% pro-mix hp , 10% compost , 10% castings , 2% Rice hulls and the rest of the 8% BaS 3.0 Recipe Soil Building Kit .
I had top-dress with Gaia greens All Purpose & Power Bloom as well as half cup of compost twice through-out the grow .
Used Organics Alive V-N , V-P , V-PK dry soluble, Humic acid , V-Micro and V-Cal once a week. Through out the grow , heavy in the end with the P & K .
Also Used R/O water during this cycle . Made sure and tried my best to keep up with minerals and micros the R/O water is lacking .
Purchased Craft Blend , from BuildASoil . Figured that with some castings , should be good ? Reviews look great.
Thorvin Premium Kelp Meal, Alfalfa Meal, Crustacean Meal, Fish Meal, 3x Fish Bone Meal, Soybean Meal, and Sul-Po-Mag (K-Mag or Langbeinite). It also includes Organic Malted Barley, Volcanic Tuff, Micronized Basalt (Blue Ridge Meta), Gypsum, and Oyster Flour. Some sources also list Wild Flax Seed Meal, BuildASoil Organic High P Bran, and Camelina Meal
Also, How long can I store this soil? I plan to keep it moist , enough where mycelium is growing ( Is this bad or good? )
I also have some compost in a bin that's closed , wondering about that as well... Should I mist with water every once in awhile?

You can store it for as long as you want, dont let it dry completely so the organic matter can keep decomposing. The mycellium that grows in there is not harmful for the plants, its just gonna decompose organic matter and then dissapear when its done dont worry.
About the bin thats closed, mantain 40-60% humidity and it should be fine. Less than 40% will decrese the composting speed and more than 60% can lead to lack of oxygenation.
EDIT: also that craft blend from build a soil looks great! the ingredients are legit really good. I use some of them and I like that they dont use blood meal, bone meal, feather meal or manure, those are cheaper but way worse options that they could put in there to get more money but they dont.

Thanks for the tips! I need throw a hygrometer in with the compost bag .
Yeah! BuildASoil has amazing inputs . They use to sell their amendment and fertilizers separate, Back in the day.
Now you can get all 15 ingredients in a bag, instead of trying to source them yourself .

I like to plant cover crops, I have some coming up now for the summer that way there’s still something to drink water as I water and I have to keep the worms alive anyways ,but you don’t need your big lights for that, I have maybe 50w over each 30 gallon bag, those are full build a soil soils, but your mix sounds like my 3x3 its promix BX with the craft blend and a ton of other build a soil amendments, it ran awesome, I have Gaia I love it I’ve bought so many buckets I drill holes in em and use em as 1/4”2 gallon starter pots but only used in the 3x3 but it always does great
I let mine overdry a bit but I’ll get her rippin again, I just give it some fresh microbes and food / sugars ro eat and you’ll be good in no time
