So there are a number of biological control suppliers out there who know what they are selling, I use Evergreen Growers Supply who are local to me but buying predatory insects through Amazon ain’t a happening event.
As noted they don’t know what they are shipping and don’t give a hoot in hell if you wind up with some new invasive species because they can then sell you some other BS thing to fix the first issue. Real help isn’t coming from billionaires or whatever they are…

Yeah you lose some but it’s never been an issue & you can rub some nice rosin off sometimes, my hands just can’t stand trimming much anymore & the rate of processing outweighs the negatives for me. If you get one my advice is 16 to 18” & no wider, the 20” ones don’t trim at the out edge which is a pisser because your left with unfinished & finished mixed up…

My wife and I forage a lot, for all kinds of berries when in season, we always run across mantis. Now I'm gonna have to learn how to id Chinese from Native so I can ensure native ones survival.

They have a hard time molting in my drier climates. I tried releasing them outside before. Maybe in a greenhouse here

There is a light rain where I live this morning. It's the only real water in the 7 day forecast. It's starting to cool down here though. That means aggressive weather is coming. We get high winds and heavier buds at the same time, one of mother natures motherly tests. Within the next week I'll wrap more of the nylon bird nets on plants to keep branches from snapping.
