The one day that I could go to our local farmers market, their closed.

Stuff is fresh from the field, always great taste, and cheap. Most is from the Amish farmers. Their in every direction, around me. Nice folks
Where I live it was nothing but dairies and citrus groves until development started in the 60's. But agriculture all up and down California is huge here. So we get some pretty good markets. Unless it's raining they happen every weekend year round.

Beautiful S. California evening.

16 days old.
Strains: White Rhino, GG4, Super Skunk, and Qrazy Train
3rd year growing autos and this is hands down the best start I've had with them. Sprouted and grown 100% outdoor. Thought I lost one that got chewed up before she even popped the seed shell off, but she's still alive!!! So that's 12 out of 12 that are still going. The two in the front middle have been attacked by baby pillars. For some morbid reason I do enjoy popping them in my fingers. The leaves are all mangled up but that's not stopping them from doing their thing.
I think I finally found my magic touch with them. Still got roughly 10 weeks till harvest so we'll see.
Durbin, where did you source your seeds from? That’s great that you had 12/12 💯!!! Let us know how the genetics turn out! Hopefully all 12 see the finish line! Good luck growmie

Yep.. reached um. Their in the nymph stage. They go thru 5 stages, each consisting of a week, before reaching adulthood. They'll stay with the plant, till then. Two weeks after their last molt, they can breed and repeat the process. Hatching 4-5 days from being laid. Eggs are clear, turning colors before they emerge. That must be why I missed them, cause they stuck out like a sore thumb, this morning. Didn't find anymore clusters, but I found a little green inch worm having a snack. Wasn't a cut worm.! I've had them before, effers ate my pine bushes. Freaked out when I touched the bush, and it was like a wave from a crowd at a game. Every needle was replaced by a worm. 🤢

But adult stink bugs are known to suck from leaves, flowers n fruits.

I see plenty of stink bugs n earwigs in my parts, but I've never seen them devestate plants, in that case.
I think that was the spot/plant she chose to lay her eggs on, and leave. They seem to move about, at dark mostly.

everything reveged and probably won't finish except the one in the pot o well they are just for fun I have been fighting these huge months that produce even bigger cattapillars that rattel at you horned tomato worm I thing they strip a whole branch in a day
Looking for worms and pop out come this little kitty he can't walk quite right but seems fine other than that hasnt left in 2 days now so I set him up in my empty chicken coop he has cool eyes so I guess he is staying he's sleeping under the blue dream when I get home everyday so thats his name

She's still stretching ,she stands at seven foot now and hopefully she start soon ,
Having to water her every evening and hosing her every few days because it's in the 30s again,I got a smaller plant that was supposed to be a gorilla auto that's been going since may that shows no signs of flowering "she's a photo "that hates the heat so I have to put her in the shade ,I did try her inside but the lights didn't agree with her so I'll let her run outside.

Will they not go back into flower ? Or is it they will not have anuf time to finish outside before bad weather?
Will you finish the one in the pot inside ?

I didn’t realize they would stay with the plant. That’s why I have been so hesitant to buy any predatory bugs. Need some! I do have a 5” P Mantis that I see bouncing around my lady’s occasionally. Quite a few lady bugs, but they tend to stay around my watermelon plants.

Here's a pair dueling it out here on the Chesapeake - Fat Mazzy on the left, Royal Moby on the right. Moby is just passing 60 inches, 4 inches ahead. They started flowering the first week of August.
I was wondering...now that it's time to start feeding the P and K nutrients, should I dial back or even cut out the nitrogen? Or keep it going and add the flowering mix?

Were they native or invasive?
They aren't native to any desert.
Here's my humidity level
1000005874

6% .

.....praying mantises generally need a degree of humidity, but the specific requirements vary by species. Most species thrive with a humidity level between 50% and 70%, although some, like the Orchid Mantis, require higher humidity (60-80%). Proper humidity is crucial for successful molting, especially in younger nymphs, and for overall well-being.
