hell yeah i mean my garden i started by laying cardboard on grass, the covered with 6-8" of organic dark leaf compost on top of it (i have a local ish source and they provide testing results if requested) but i bought 10 cu yd (full dump truck)

first year was good 2nd better 3rd crazy you need to create that duff layer like he was saying, i did that with the leaf compost (this was very well looked down and looked like clean new fresth black dirt) that lets the cycle start then we start feeding the organic feeds etc and encourage it but it works awesome

The outdoor girls
Thanks, you're giving me hope! 💯🔥👊

What’s up folks! We also have the Frostette rockin just into week 3!

She’s stretched out perfect, stretch is slowing and looks like she’s gunna set up perfect, instead of installing a 2nd net (I have the PVC table on top of the tent) I chose to raise the net up higher, now I’ll do a defol this weekend and let her ride into the sunset

So much more to do, I think I’ll be doing a Gaia green run in the new 4x4 setup with n the 60 gallon pot, gunna do all promix I think, old school, might even use up a bit of the mega crop A / B / Kelp / an bud explosion to make @Captspaulding happy 😜

Better post up the hydra in here as well! Still rockin in the full Spiderfarmer 3x3 smart controlled setup,

For those wondering I’m currently running the light in there at 44% at about 36” giving approx 330ppfd to the canopy according to the PPFD sensor

I bumped up the power 4% after the grafts took well and started vegging nicely

This plant is in a 12 gallon fabric pot, peat moss mixed with build a soil amendments, EWC, rice hulls, and watering with just Alaska Fish Fertilizer

Got a few pics of the outdoor as well

I’ll get some fresh pics in the morning when I get home from work, but they are stacking excellent I can’t wait till the really fill in. Gunna do a defol on the lowers now that stretch is done and let em ride

Well well… it’s a mighty big pot, not worried about runoff…. I don’t have runoff, (once I fine tune the watering, might get a few drips a few times)

I just like em elevated so air can flow under the bags, so few racks, a wood stove gaurd, and some bamboo will work 🤣

Took a hour nap on the back deck in the sun, warm day but 40mph winds lol nice out

Got the exhaust up and ready liking how this looks, I have all spiderfarmer exhaust in my tent, some are 3-4 years old now and run 24/7 the 6” exhaust in the back 4x8 and a 4” in the back 4x4, same as the 3x3 gald I bumped up the the 6” for this 4x4

I think I tried that Jobes once.. do they make a mix for oranges and lemons? It had a mean organic smell to it. My dog loved to roll in it...😂

I can't grow shit in my yard.. it s sand too but don't think it's that loom stuff. I mean there's lif back there, but nothing like what you got going.

I found that video . Sure you seen it before. Is kind of coincides with that other one and to me it's very similar to the way earth boxes work. (Some of it)

I watched the whole video, then got sucked in to a few bas videos that came on after…great info, got my wheels turning.

Moving day 🤣

Got the smart gear all stripped outta the 3x3 and moving into the 4x4 😁

Hydra staying in the 3x3 ofc

I started a 2025 solo cup a month early....just to see if I needed to alter anything before the real go on Sept 1
It did well....now im thinking about putting it in a hydro bucket....do you think it will stress it to much to clean dirt off and put it a hydro basket?

It’s possible it would stress it but it MAY survive, hell it may do great I’ve just never tried it, I’m sure tons of people have though, depends if the plant can adjust its roots quick enough, the root structure is different between hydro and soil roots, the plant adjusts itself

The type of hairs on the roots form slightly differently to live in its environment

It’s why when we clone like in my cloner then I put them into soil they pause on growth for a week or so to adjust, just not sure if they adjust as quickly the other way though from soil to water

Got all the smart gear moved over to the 4x4 and set up, wires hidden, left the GGS AC10 power strip in the 3x3 and ran all the power cords over into it, pretty clean setup I think

That’s 400ppfd at 50% power at 34”

That was my concern, thought I'd experiment....but not if there would be a adverse affect with a auto. I will try it sometime with a Fem photo....thanks.
I will put her in a 3 gallon pot....

Yeah with an auto I think it’d destroy the yield, would probably stress flip her I’d guess

Well why stop now!

60 gallon pot, this one’s getting everything including the kitchen sink 🤣👊👊

Probably gunna need to mix up 3 of these bins

Watering in layers it’ll take a week or 2 to get even moisture through the medium but this will help
