these are for my second indoor and clone project! Hahahaha!Well, youβre still one level higher than, a.k.a., pop some more, Cbrians! But itβs getting close!![]()
Thank you for the kind words! Im glad itβs out there for folks to see! Super happy you are able to get something from it!What an impressive grow diary! It's inspiring to see how much you can achieve on a tight budget. Your detailed updates and photos show that with creativity and dedication, great results are possible. Keep up the awesome work!
I know that I'm like a billion years late to the conversation, but if a low budget start-up indoor grow is the goal, then:
1.) A well lit room. (Without a well lit room, a simple knock-off light hung from the ceiling from eye hooks and ratchet ropes would be do the job)
2.) A pot for the plant
3.) Soil and drainage stuff (I would still choose hydro here but would raise initial investment accordingly)
4.) Nutrients
5.) An Autoflower seed
That would be pretty much all anyone would need to get a single plant off and running indoors. Probably around $250-375 depending on whether or not the person bought a light. Maybe $400 if they went light and hydro.
Not in my opinion!Hey @Oldchucky i know Bugsbyβs stance on light and it effecting the grow cycle. But do you think the little LED light from my camera would be enough to get my plants to re veg? Iβll get some pics today, itβs odd growth to my untrained eye. ( the camera is 10 or so feet away from the plants)
Ok. I have one more theory, im going to check for some light pollution from the neighbors back porch. Itβs a long shot, basically a few inch wide gap at the top of the fence. Going to see if their light lines up with that gap and the plants. And possibly if the light is just flat out over the fence line hitting the tops of those plants. Not in my opinion!
Thanks Bilber!Definitely looking awesome!!!!!
The #3 perlite is thes meowwww!!!!!!!
Whatever you do, do not, I repeat, Do Not use powdered perlite!!!!!
Had to throw that in there!!!!!
Whichever medium you decide to use, you'll knock it right outta the park!!!!!!
Peat/perlite is pretty easy to use!!!!
It's the other environmental factors that put a damper on my grows......
I've never rinsed out peatmoss or perlite, but I can see the benefits!!!!!!!!Thanks Bilber!
ok no powdered perlite! got it, thanks! : ) i didn something different for this little set of mix. i pre rinsed the perlite in its bag, so it got a pretty good rinse and soak. its really wet right now but im confident once it drys back the light warrior will help fluff it out a little! but still receive water a little deeper with less water (hope that makes sense) than the last mix.
That and it has been sitting outside for a whileI've never rinsed out peatmoss or perlite, but I can see the benefits!!!!!!!!
It would be like washing and rinsing clay balls for starting hydro.....
It gets rid of the dust particles that can bind a system up.....
Yeah, the top pic looks weird! I donβt think the others do! If the whole plant is doing that, then you might have something to worry about! When youβre growing under questionable sunlight conditions, they can wonk out a little!Ok. I have one more theory, im going to check for some light pollution from the neighbors back porch. Hereβs a pic of what im seeing. Is this not a funky looking leaf and bud combo or is that pretty standard?

Ok so im going with its a freak like me! Hahaha!Slightly mutated!? Weird.
Gotta love that purple bud.....I know I do![]()
I reckon they all good buds always throw single blade leaves out the top you would think if it was trying to reveg it would go a bit fox taily if thatβs a wordOk.
