Am always trying to ferret around to get to the bottom of things...just like my growing..I want to know why something has happened. My apologies for offending anyone or everyone. I'll keep it clean from now on. I was in shock (still am) when I posted that. I do not condone what happened; to be clear, it's absolutely disgraceful. Its not an excuse, I'm just always looking for underlying causation rather than surface symptoms, and I guess in hindsight, I should not have sought that discussion here. It’s totally cool man. bb22 been around since the beginning of this thread so it’s just one of those things that he approached it in the most calm cool and respectable way possible and I appreciate the hell out of that and I appreciate the fact that you didn’t feel like you had to have a knee jerk reaction and go off the handle over it which is in my opinion common courtesy, and respect in a nutshell so thank you for being red even though you might’ve offended a little bit, I can’t think of a single person I’ve ever met that hasn’t brushed the hair on the cat the wrong way by accident once or twice you know so in my opinion, your good. What does NZ do with the latest generation of air rifle? You can now buy a .45 cal air rifle that shoots 850 fps with a 200 grain lead " pellet" this is 45 acp numbers. For NZ think 455 webley. I also see air powered crossbow hybrids that can absolutely hurl a bolt to stupid velocities.

I'm an Aussie not a Kiwi, and thank goodness for that In Oz air rifles are classified as firearms and fall under all the big boy regulations. I love airgun hunting small game and as you said some of the big bore PCP's out there nowadays are extremely cool and large game compatible. And the arrow firing PCP's are nuts, you speaking my language.

In Ohio we have a growing coyote and coydog problem. I hear them nightly and have heard dogs get taken when left out. I was looking for a PCP but a used lever action in 357 with the threaded barrel came up and I snagged it. With 38 special subsonic and a screw on Can I have a 100 meter rifle that sounds like a light clap.

I own a Daisy Crossman Quest Nitro Piston Elite .22 air rifle and matched with the copper barracuda round she is a beauty on rabbits, possums, swans, turkeys, Magpies, hares, etc, and I bought that legally over the counter without a license. So I guess we still have a little freedom.

I think the whole world was kind of perturbed by honestly cause I mean, you would think yeah that in certain situations right it would be a thing now full disclosure.
