U name it. Bow, black powder, rifle, handun, pellet gun, slingshots.
Deer, waterfowl, upland bird , if it's brown, it's down and headed for the table. I'm too old for all that now, I'd be lucky to drag my own arse outta the woods, let alone a 180 lb deer.

Ate a lot of squirrels n rabbit. Could go for some more bunny, that was my favorite.
I'll be out rabbiting from next month, use ferrets to bolt them to the lurcher in daylight and run them on the lamp at night and if I'm lucky I'll get a run on something bigger .

I've been feeding my plants mostly this year with my own organic fertilizer i made according to the " Garden like a Viking " method. It is simply water, leaf mold collected from the woods behind my house , and cannabis waste. Thats it. The idea being the microbes in the leaf mold break down the cannabis and being as all nutes come from cannabis the exact nutes they need in the exact ratio are present along with a dose of microbes to continue working in the pot. Everything goes in the bucket, leaves, stems, roots and unusable bud. This bucket has been cooking since last September and the original material is completely liquefied. I highly recommend this method to all you organic growers out there. Very cheap and effective.
Throw your coffee grounds in there too.

Getting a little spooked lately, with all the purple leaves dying back from the cold snap we had a bit back, only to do it again a couple nights ago.

Kinda worried that I'm gonna loose most of my leaves before she can finish. My maple tree, and other trees in the neighborhood are turning and dropping, too. So maybe it's just me.

Definitely not a disease, or bug interaction, it's more of what I'd expect a a plant coming to its end of cycle, by eating any reserves. But it's early September...!! Unless this is a fast flowing, strain.....that I don't know.

I'm seeing a lot of u other guys up north have leaves changing, too. So that's a relief for me, as well.

A few pics

The California Orange has had only one yellow leaf in it all year.

So I'll let her ride, she was destined to die, anyhow. Too close to the end to change anything, IMO
