All-Electric Seaplane Completes Test Flight | IoT World Today

The most prominent new electric seaplane development is the REGENT Seaglider, a 12-passenger electric boat-plane hybrid that began sea trials in March 2025. The Vicroy prototype can float, foil on underwater wings, and fly in ground effect for a faster, smoother ride, aiming to provide sustainable coastal transportation. Other developments include the Harbour Air eBeaver, an electric conversion of a traditional seaplane, though it is not a "new" design.

Key features of the REGENT Seaglider:
  • Float, Foil, and Fly:
The Seaglider operates in three modes: it floats on its hull, then rises on hydrofoils to glide above the water, and finally flies in ground effect.

  • Electric Propulsion:
It uses electric motors for propulsion, making it a zero-emission aircraft.

  • Capacity and Range:
The full-scale Viceroy prototype is designed to carry 12 passengers and has a projected range of 180 miles.

  • Technological Advancement:
The design combines high-speed aircraft capability with the convenience of a boat, offering an alternative to ferries and traditional air travel.
What to expect:
  • Sea Trials: The Viceroy prototype is currently undergoing sea trials in Rhode Island to test its systems before the first human-powered flights.

  • Future of Coastal Travel: REGENT aims to commercialize seagliders for regional high-speed mobility.

I'm a chicken to fly, why I'm typing to you lot and not talking, but damn that looks sweet, ground effect planes are one of my favs, future be now

Thanks again, I have a silicon pastry brush which I thought of when discovering the canna but it's too flimsy, went online and store to store looking for the right resistance, no good, I think I'll grab a canna just to see, though 60% through current trim harvest, definitely the sucky part of growing for me.
If you hold the brush like a pencil so index, middle and thumb brace the bristles and the reinforcement essentially simmulates stiffer bristles

Its The fall season up there. Everyone is getting all into the “changing of the colors” in the vegetation…..

Grow some weed bitches 🤣✌️💨

I do and I've done so up to a week to harvest. It breaks down quickly and I spray the plants down to get the dirt off early morning of harvest anyway. I nor the people I give it to have never tasted neem in the smoke. Bt is also an option but shelf life sucks so the bottle I have is probably bad but again, the neem works and I do have issues with PM on a couple of strains mainly when it's wet/cold and mosaic on some tomatoes and again, neem works for multiple issues.
I was told to just wash before harvest...it would be ideal not to spray it, bymut better than smoking bugs.

Just a heads up...you probably already know, but just in case you don't.
I'll often plant garlic with my plants, which works well. As does a light coating of cinnamon on the soil.
Good was looking for something to take care of the lice.......just kidding. Just saying the word makes me start itching my head.

thanks, yep, I have a trim bin, awesome kit with bonus sift that I temple ball, the cannabrush is $45 here, hmm, I sourced a very soft bristle nail brush, kinda works, I used to go to work and arrive home to completion thanks to the then gf, nowadays, not so lucky, plus the longer I'm taking the stinkier the place becomes, I certainly have all the grow gear, now just need to sort my shit out.
Get yhe girlfriend back ..she sounds like a keeper...🤣😂

Wouldn't give her the ring she wanted...ayy.
Good guess, but we are both still unmarried, I didn't want rug rats, she did, I was an unmotivated dipshit, she wasn't, when asked I set her free to live her dreams, now that's love, and that's life, the plus side, although we sought outside gals for play I wouldn't have 'mingled' with many an awesome lass, but I'd trade all that to be by her side, never say never.

Good thinking boss, here's the nail brush failure and the pastry brush I already had, just tried your common-sense logical approach and it seemed to work, certainly better than my floppy der me trial, I'll see tomorrow when I get stuck back into it.

It’s gotta be almost over dry I’ve found for the brush to work n I get scared I’m gunna knock all the trichs off

other than my feed schedule and some loose ends the drying and curing seems to be my weak spot, years ago, brown paper bag, cure? what cure, but my last run I had difficulties, hay, hmm, and yes I've certainly found the drier the sugar the far easier to remove, a balancing act, where are those trimmers for hire like over in Humbolt, I'd hire in a second.
