other than my feed schedule and some loose ends the drying and curing seems to be my weak spot, years ago, brown paper bag, cure? what cure, but my last run I had difficulties, hay, hmm, and yes I've certainly found the drier the sugar the far easier to remove, a balancing act, where are those trimmers for hire like over in Humbolt, I'd hire in a second.
Well it looks like ya got the grow thing down pat mate buds look awesome👍 I’m a jar curer dry it down to about 60% humidity then just burp it once a day for a couple weeks if buds feel moist at all I pull em out the jars and air it out then re jar it actually is a pain in the arse to get right don’t over dry don’t under dry back in the day she was all hung up in an open barn dried bagged n smoked😂👍

Good thinking boss, here's the nail brush failure and the pastry brush I already had, just tried your common-sense logical approach and it seemed to work, certainly better than my floppy der me trial, I'll see tomorrow when I get stuck back into it.
I tried the exact same brush last time I just cut the bristles in half seemed to stiffen it up a bit fkd the mrs basting brush though but that’s the price she pays for being with me😂👍

I have grove bags in every size plus cheap humidity readers plus heaps of moccona coffee jars plus the ac infinity ai controller in the 4x4, you'd think I'd be able to combine all that with success, I'm a gadget guy and been looking at a wood moisture meter, but for now, I'll jar burp some and grove the rest.

Never used them grove bags but by all accounts on here they work pretty well👍

another great idea, thanks, makes sense to lessen to stiffen, will do, I'm a fancy cook but have another bristle pastry brush at hand, I got this, ha!

yeah, many decade old jar guys converted to grove bags after trying, I had excellent results with them stabilising the environment but hay in hay out I guess, this harvest is way above the last in weight, bud size, trich cover, the works, so here's hoping. I'm a true giver in life and on forums, get yourself a discrete (to me) postal address and I'll send you some groves, some bubble bags, some some some, no worries.

I dry....then cure in Coffeemate jars. Cap taught me how to put these hydrometers in the lids using art putty. Burp it till it gets to roughly 60%... Then i just check on it every week. I date the jar and annotate the strain. Nice little storage system.

all good, anything you ever need, hit me up, last run was gorilla glue and this run cheese, the gg looked fire and rocked the world, but the hay smell was a disappointment, and I really don't know where I went haywire, I think I'm unsure, beginning, middle or end, hmm

Snip Snip little Zkittlez Autoflower..be gone! I need space IMMEDIATELY! Had to cut at 10.5weeks, which is ok. It will be nice daytime smoke for me. Might even crack 2oz, maybe. Not bad, I don't take autoflowering plants very seriously, I mean, how can you? Plus, I remember what they were like 20years ago, so yeah, I just don't take them very seriously at all. Bang 'em in a pot, wait 12weeks, make sure there is enough food and water. The end. They are robust enough to do that with them. And look what you get for no effort..better than a poke in the eye with a stick, I reckon. Once they are dry, I'll give them the once-over with the needle-nose scissors before putting them away to cure a spell. Those astute followers will note the mustard greens growing that I mentioned in earlier posts as being one of the only seeds I can't cook out of my mix before using it. But it's edible and phytoremediates while it's there, so I don't pull them when they grow unless they try to take over then i eat em boiled with pork bones!

Nice....I do Auto's. They are what they are...I like using them to check out strains before I invest 5 months into it. This is the time of year I do it. Summer harvest almost here, room will open up in tents, who knows you might find another strain you like. I just got a Lambsbreath Auto.... Im growing Lambsbreath now....but wanted to compare what a Lambsbreath auto is like compared to it.

awesome work terpy_burpz, looks gorgeous and great overall plant structure, I'm sure she'll smoke up smooth, I'm yet to give an auto a try, pics like this have me leaning to YES!

Totally get that. However i find its 50/50 representative. Like my GG#4 original glue auto was foxtaily and a bit fluffy but sticky as all hell and smells like the Glue should (havent smoked it yet). This Zkittles on the other hand, smells more like Tangie x Neville Haze and nothing like the "Rainbow of flavour" you get with the real deal. Like not even close. However there may be breeders out there do a better job than Fast Buds at recreating the true Zkittlez flavours. That the likes of Terphogs breed for example (do follow my Zkittlez Terphogs diary). So its hit and miss and like everything with cannabis you cant throw all your eggs in one basket.
