Folks with caterpillar poo on their buds, are you guys spraying it off? Just a wash with the hose water? : ) thank you!

I don't wash anything. It dries up cures and gets smoked.

First order of 1/2 lb grove bags came in. Next order will be a mix of 1/2 lb and 1/4 lb bags. Can't believe the first of the harvest starts in about 4 weeks.

I told u they were gonna die off, just like mines doing. Hopefully we get thru it in time for a proper harvest.

I picked a pile last nite , in the dark, and today after work. Just the dead and dying, cause I'll need to probably pick more in the next couple days

Buds are still going...but for how long, with thinning foliage. Another cold snap like those two we've had, gonna leave her looking like a poodle. Not far from it now.!

Have not seen one yet. I saw one white moth months ago so i know there would be some caterpillars the poop is there for sure so i know the caterpillars are there ( was trying to talk myself into it being stuff from the trees)

Everyone looks like they are doing great!!! I cut a few plants down about two weeks ago. They are curing in the jars. I couldn’t help to taste some of this strains flavor!
Autos are about done. Lemon girl still has a little longer.

You are truly lucky, or damn experienced, one? I ended up finding quite a few in our first strain to get cut this year.

Watch out for the heavy duty zippers on the smaller bags, I've had a couple separate from the bag

I've only heard of this in the past few weeks, I use them from an eighth to a pound and so far no seal failures, crossed fingers emoji

I've still gotta get about 80 mason jars for curing. Then I'll vac bag some for long term storage.
It worked perfectly for last years bits. This is 9 month old bud from vac bag

These are a pair of Apple Fritters.
The indoor frosting it created is stunning , now to compare it outside.

I've become a firm believer in bud washing at harvest for outdoor grows.

I see some use there what is your process for washing?
I did it 5 years back due to wildfire but there are other issues as well…

When you do that do you let the vacuum complete on it's own or short seal it so it doesn't crush them up?

I vacuum bag my whole crop. Suck the air out , but don’t squish everything . I’m still puffing last years crop, comes out fresh!
