tomorrow .... is a big day .... first time I grow regular seeds ... I just bought my biobizz light mix soil, so I have 14 pseudo mexican sativa seeds (mexican x durban x afghan ...) which contains 3 phenos, just that (indica, hybrid and sativa) I wonder what to think of sensiseed by crossing all that, in short. so taking all that into account , my goal is to find a sativa fem pheno and an indica fem for my 12/12 from seed. I will then see what I crossbred it with.

From what I've read on sensiseed...it's more of a plant created for the European outdoor climate, resistant to mold and other pests, 8 to 9 weeks of flow, little fertilizer requirement...but what bothers me is the use of the word sativa when you have 3 different phenos...not really stable.

My dispensaries put hybrid on it if there is even a question, IDK. Flynnstoned is a pretty solid corporate brand, they run their shit like Apple Stores.
They honestly should separate strains into: Retro (pre-2000 lightly or not crossed), Modern (other) and Experimental (we're going for what you describe but aren't there).
Or is there such a nomenclature already?

In Europe, we use filters a lot to refine our searches...

I don't know, but if you go to sites like Alchemia, Grow Barato, or @Zamnesia, you have search filters or a seedfinder. Of course, you don't have a choice: retro, modern, etc., etc.... You have to read the description; from there, you'll get an idea, and also see a tab or a "Strain US" logo.

But otherwise in Europe we can clearly see that Sensi Seed like others is the loser, hence their collaboration with Serge DNA etc etc they have lost their prestige by prioritizing profit over quality... That remains my opinion.

I somehow missed the passing of Flo of Flo and Eddie of The Turtles:

Mark Volman, the co-founder and vocalist for the 1960s band The Turtles (known for "Happy Together"), passed away on September 5, 2025, at the age of 78 after a brief illness, which was reportedly a sudden manifestation of Lewy body dementia. He also continued as part of the duo Flo & Eddie and later became an educator, teaching music business at universities like Belmont University.

Happy Together, their #1 hit in 1967 was only one of 5 to make the top 10.

They also did a stint with Frank Zappa and a host of other bands.

Phlorescent Leach, Flo for short and Eddie, adopted names due to contractual obligations, as Zappa referred to it with The Turtles record label. Happy ending, were able to buy the rights and even toured as The Turtles.

Yeah I just went on their website and it does suck, stock photos for everything, and when you go in and select flower, then filter out the options for sativa and sativa hybrid it had everything from pre rolls to vape carts and flower lumped together. This is what happens when you have owners who only care about their profits and they probably don’t even smoke weed. Seems to be a pretty big company too, because I had to select a shop in one of ten locations. Big business fucking it up for the little guy or girl.
