I should probably pick some of the peppers in my own garden 🤣 I still have flowers on them and they will probably produce more peppers until the first hard frost. View attachment 2534100

Those ones on the left are very tasty.....
...burnt the hell out of my mouth when I grew them and thought I was all that and a bag of chips.....found myself in the kitchen....eating bread, sugar and drinking milk.... anything I thought may get the hot out of my mouth.
 
No hot sauce has bothered me personally but a little tomato sauce and I'm looking for antacids.
My buddies father use to say that pepperoni pizza always burnt his ass on the way out, I eat a lot of hot spicy food and have never experienced any second burn on the back end 🤣 pardon the pun. I wonder if my gut is doing a better job digesting the hot stuff, or maybe 🤔 I’m just numb down there 🤣

Ahh yes the habanero pepper coming in around 350,000 scoville units. It’s the hottest pepper I care to cook with, ironically the heat isn’t as intense as lesser peppers on the scoville unit chart like jalapeños and Thai chilies, but longer lasting and all encompassing. That’s just how I perceive them.

As far as new strains I gotta go with caps kahuna
As far as strains harvested hands down Caps Bob Barker the cross between his 86 Maui wowie and 86 Kona Gold .
Unharvested I have a 4 way tie between the congolese, mekong, cali blue and banjo blaster. All of which are still in veg.
The lazy lightning ⚡💀 might’ve been in there too but I pollinated the faq out of it and won’t get much smoke from it after all the seeds have been removed.
 
Doc Bronners huh? I’ve never used it for bugs but that’s some good sheeyat.
i love the stuff. it’s something we’ve switched my daughter over for soap. she has some skin issues that we’re trying to figure out. and so far, that soap single handedly has improved the quality of her life tremendously! like happy cry, she was miserable and we were trying everything! 😍

i was reading on the dish soap vs a true “dr bronners” soap. the type of soap it is escapes me at the momen

and isn't bad on aphids and no moth larvae damage, yet. She was about 6' in the greenhouse and got broken up when I removed her. Debated allowing her to flower or composting. I got greedy🤣

I've got a Blueberry Hashplant that's ready with moth larvae damage that will come down this weekend.

The GDP gotta come down. They're clones of my #1 and I've got a mom so I'll keep her for a while. Should get some purple plants this winter😉

I just make the paint thinner, I ain't eating it, EVER!🤣 Our youngest and another family member says they love the hot hot sauce so every year for Christmas I make a red sauce that literally smells like paint thinner for them to enjoy🤣

I make a green sauce out of jalapeno, onion, garlic, salt and sometimes add in serranos and /or cilantro. Dynamite flavor with a kick. Won't burn your mouth🤣

And 2 years ago I started a vanilla extract for gifts. I started using a little of this year and man is it good. Better than store bought. Just vanilla beans and kool-aid, I mean Vodka🤣 It takes anywhere near a year plus to taste really good. The vanilla beans have melted into the solution. Put a drop on a tsp sugar and wow!

I've tried several soap mixtures, even bought one and none work near as well as neem oil. I've had both aphids and spider mites so bad in the greenhouse that I had to compost the plant. Now days I know I've gotta spray at least once a week all greenhouse plants to control their numbers. The aphids got bad outdoors this summer and ate a couple GDP's making them compost so I'm to point of nuking them all.

Being behind the greenhouse I forget about spraying her but never miss a fertigation🤔 don't get old. I'd say she's got at least 10% dead flowers and sections of PM, which neem treats as well. I've got too many outside right now so I'm gonna take her down and pick through her.

You have a trigger. Try a bunch of hungarian hots then cheese curds.

I like to cut up the habs and cut like 1/4” strips, buy a jar of green olives remove the pimentos and sill up the thin strips and put them back into the olives and back into the juice, give em a week, fuckin delicious lol
