I’m lucky the wife is ALWAYS cooking, but I know what @capone304 means haha, I have kids too lol, luckily I don’t worry about people smellin the plants but ducting outside is always the best option, I run all spiderfarmer carbon filters but I do have a vivosun inline 4” fan that’s I’ve been running 2 years straight without an issue, and I have a spiderfarmer carbon filters but on it as well, but for absolute best imo would be the carbon filter inside the tent on the inlet side of the fan, and still exhaust outside, a few of my tents have that option (wonder what people will think of if I ever sell the house I have like 6 drier vents on the house

Went super stealth with the one in the front, had to army crawl under the deck like 15’ in a 12” space and mounted one under there lol, can only tell it’s there I lf I run in the winter exhausting outside cus it’ll melt the snow on the deck above it lol, but I rarely vent outside anymore

It’s from seed junky genetics supposed to be a pretty heavy hitter we will c yea all pre buffered with cal and mag with added trichoderma and silica it’s expensive at 50$ a bag but it’s always worked for me so I don’t change it

I think I'ma order some how many 3 gallon pots will that $50 bag fill and do u add any perlite? Is it like growing in coco gotta keep it wet at all times?

Yea just coco perlite good quality though full buffered I got a pic somewhere with the Canna line of nutes mate without boost fed once a day by hand nothin fancy here oh it’s cap junky and I e got thc bomb aswellView attachment 2537455

I grew in straight peat and perlite about 60/40 ratio it was premier peat moss from Lowe's I'll NVR grow in that shit again I've had insane issues out of every plant I've grown in it the last run n a half pH going wonky n shit plants just not doing good Im so angry I did this lol

Yeah once I find something worth using I keep it around

I use Ferti-Loam The Gold Canadian spagnham peat it’s 100% peat no additives not even perlite

when I do My Gaia green style runs that’s all I use is that and perlite and my amendments, was gunna try the coco-loco about a year ago but they were sold out so I never even gave it a go, peat moss is my 100% go to medium for organic, synthetic, and living soil

I only add 10-20% perlite max though


Most peat on the market is out for me though, most have wetting agents that aren’t organic, or other amendments, I ran straight promix BX with my organics for years, Thai spring when I went to grab a few bales they were all still promix BX but I noticed they said “Activ-reach” and the OMRI stamp was gone, went in and talked to the store owners and they said holy shit, e dosent even notice that in the bags

That’s when I switched to the fertiloam

Now ya got me all confused it’s cocopeat what ever that means feels fluffy like coco though says from the worlds biggest coco peat producer

It’s 70/30 coco perlite so I don’t add more perlite they 50 litre bags not great with gallons but bit over 13? so 4 and a bit 3 gals It works if you used salt based nutes keeps everything stable no mad ph swings or anything I only ever check my run off maybe twice a grow or unless things go sideways

Not really unless you pack it, it retains moisture but drains freely, that’s what is all my living soil bags are full of compost/peat/aeration 1/3 each plus amendments

That’s what the 5 gallon buckets outside are is all peat/perlite/gaia/craft blend
