I've watched some Jade Nectar and done a little reading to try and understand this "land race" thing. Near as I can tell it's the idea of have a strain that's native to the area where you're growing but I'm missing something, like, how does one get started trying to find the right seeds to grow in any particular area?

I think you just have to be careful with some of the stuff that’s grown on the equator! Sometimes it needs different light requirements! And a lot of of the southeast Asian stuff takes forever to finish! And a lot of the sativa stuff! I haven’t had a problem with any of it growing it here! As long as you can keep the roots, cool pretty much all weed is sun loving! I grew Greek and Afghani last year! And Afghani, Pakistani, Mexican, and a cross this year and they grow like crazy! And they’ve got soul! Lol! Not cookie cutter semi commercial! I tried that! If you have any questions about Landrace strains, feel free! I have researched a shit load of them! Lol! We are not really in mold country! But a long wet spell can induce it! Jade just did a half hour after the rain walk-through today or yesterday touting the mold, resistance of land race And domesticates!

Truly, right now in NorCal, except for personal use, there’s almost no market for bud. For some reason I love purple weed. I don’t know why, other than aesthetics, but there’s something about purple weed that I find intriguing. Been that way since Humboldt in the 70’s!

I do have one friend who made a killing, (and more that lost their shirts!) but he got his license when medical marijuana was on the ground floor, when recreational was approved he already had all his buyers/contacts and supply chain. Most of his business now is vapes and edibles.

Yeah! We got a state tax federal tax? I think? And then the city itself taxes that shit! An on sale ounce for $70 bucks is $120 out the door!
