A few years ago I switched to 5 gallon air-tight buckets due to too many jars.
I grew a small bit this year, honoring my best friend who passed last year from cancer...He was a 45 year master Kushman...I always wanted to try GDP... They absolutely blew my mind...I had to pull them early because up here the freeze has begun and I hate budrot that much...I just finished jarring to cure..Ill finish trim as I go..the sugar leaves were caked so couldn't put them all in the shake bag...The aroma is heady now, in a week or more its going to be enough to get high on...

It is for me. I’m lazy.
I know! You want mother nature to do all of the work!😃 in five years of watching indoor growing the one major consensus is that auto’s are a bad idea for the inexperienced indoor grower! His advice to her in his last post is pretty much contradicted by his two previous posts! Just two cents!

Really? I've seen a lot of 1st time grows over on growdiaries.com and autoflower.org that are pretty impressive.
They’re fine if you know what you’re doing! Some guy once said, they are all autos once you flip! You don’t get a chance to screw up with autos and recover! During the first five weeks!

It’s a marketing ploy…seen more issues than successes…I’ve grown two and they were both under an ounce dry. I think they’re lame indoors, but that’s just me…I’ll still run a few outdoors this spring tho.

oh yeah buddy! Have had these going in prep for “indoor winter season” : )

are you curious on anything specific? ✌️View attachment 2544669View attachment 2544670View attachment 2544671View attachment 2544672View attachment 2544673View attachment 2544674View attachment 2544675
Yes. How much area do you use? What strains are best for you. Auto or photo? Lighting and ventilation? A few more but that will start. Only interested in dirt grows, no hydroponics.
Thank you Bear

Hey just looking for some ideas: since some thieving assholes stole my plants this year, logic is they got my property marked to come back next year. Any ideas how to prevent a 2nd incident? I grow them in pots on the patio in the back of the house. Got electrical sockets and iron railings/gates. (These weren't locked this year, but even if they are, they're only 3 1/2 feet.)
Any strategies or techniques would be most appreciated!
No 1. I have 2 Pitbulls that rule the roost. You get past them, you deserve the plants! 😂 I also use auto shock, since you mentioned an electric outlet. So it runs silently around your plants. It’s as thick as dental floss, and will jolt the most experienced thief. It’ll stun them so bad and you will hear em bark and howl like a dog! Then comes the .40 and 9mm!! You can cut the circuit by just disconnecting it. My brother is a retired Mastwr Gunnery Sgt in the Marines. He has taught me many tricks. He has some that are crazy. Also a video camera that acknowledges their presence! Finally Flood lights that should never be triggered unless a person is present. A.I. is worth it in some areas

Well strain wise im looking for things indica or indica leaning : ) ill be trying a some new strains to me next spring/summer though! Im only running photos. Have yet to try seriously autos, it’s coming for sure. They both have their place for sure depending on the individual growers needs and time frames and what not.

Im running a 1000w Phlizon in a one half of my shed. The foot print is way smaller than what my flower room is. Im currently in the midst of rearranging the shed AGAIN! LOL! So things will be changing soon. Making a legit lung room to try and combat inconsistant climate : ) ventilation is mostly aci quiet fan with charcoal filter which plugs directly into the aci controller, i have a couple can fans that are plugged into the aci smart plugs to have that ability to at least turn on and off with automation (on/off only with those fans) still nice though to have that ability. I’ve got a nice dehumidifier on the ready and a window ac unit with heating capabilities. Dude all that sounds ridiculous, I’ve been building it for the last 2 years 🤩 but started with the bare bones minimum! ran a DIY led setup for my first few runs! : ) running soil will give you way more time in between waterings/feedings. do you have nutrients lined up for it? there are some awesome soil growers here on the farm! : )

any more questions id be happy to do my best to answer (yes itll probably be long winded) 🤣✌️

Im going to try my hand at some autos in smaller pots next summer. Soil : ) Gal recommended a Maphisto for autos.

Checking the remaining branches of WB today. Hmm. Best I pull it, I think.

Here's what I noticed in the past two days. Purpling has darkend to the point its turning to a blue hue, sugar leaves curling with brown tips, and what looks like a loss of thrichs.

Here same bud. Pics are today, and two days ago. Did my best to obtain same angles for comparison.

Today. No frosty's!

But in actuality, looking thru the loupe.... their not missing, just full on amber..😆. I guess it does happen fast. 😯

Should make a nice jar or two of sleepy go nite nite weed, 🤤. Maybe I wait till Wednesday...just to make sure. Still giving off a great smell, too.
