Never know... Weather looks good all next week. Though I see the possibility of frost Wednesday and Thursday night, again. Around here, the frost shows itself during first light, once the sun breaks the horizon it's melted, unless it's really cold.Wait til Wednesday. You’ve already come this far.
I am also set to run Indica and Hybrids. I’m limited to only about 8 plants bc of available room.Well strain wise im looking for things indica or indica leaning : ) ill be trying a some new strains to me next spring/summer though! Im only running photos. Have yet to try seriously autos, it’s coming for sure. They both have their place for sure depending on the individual growers needs and time frames and what not.
Im running a 1000w Phlizon in a one half of my shed. The foot print is way smaller than what my flower room is. Im currently in the midst of rearranging the shed AGAIN! LOL! So things will be changing soon. Making a legit lung room to try and combat inconsistant climate : ) ventilation is mostly aci quiet fan with charcoal filter which plugs directly into the aci controller, i have a couple can fans that are plugged into the aci smart plugs to have that ability to at least turn on and off with automation (on/off only with those fans) still nice though to have that ability. I’ve got a nice dehumidifier on the ready and a window ac unit with heating capabilities. Dude all that sounds ridiculous, I’ve been building it for the last 2 yearsbut started with the bare bones minimum! ran a DIY led setup for my first few runs! : ) running soil will give you way more time in between waterings/feedings. do you have nutrients lined up for it? there are some awesome soil growers here on the farm! : )
any more questions id be happy to do my best to answer (yes itll probably be long winded)![]()
Brother, it’s the bud rot once you turn amber with the White Buffalo. We never went past 10% Amber, after learning the hard way. Everything looked stellar, then the trim exposed a lot.Never know... I'll be watching it, not gonna let it rot, or try natural freeze drying. Whichever comes first.![]()
i cranked my my light when I first got it. She’s hungry when set on full tilt! Drop the power down and lower the light over the plants and it’s not that bad. It would look like you got a coupe oil heaters plugged in to stay warm( assuming you’re not somewhere doesn’t get cold enough for heaters!I am also set to run Indica and Hybrids. I’m limited to only about 8 plants bc of available room.
I also have an ac unit with air/heat, plus aqueduct filtering.
What concerns me most is the electric consumption. I’m not in a legal state, so that is something I need to watch.
How much of a spike in electricity do you see during the winter. I also have an extra bonus room on top of my garage. Been thinking about converting that to grow. It’s 30’w x 25’ L. That’s roughly 84 square yards. Like I said. Biggest concern is power bill, not paying it, but tipping of someone with the spike. Answer for that is?????
Bear we don’t use oil to heat anything. I need extra tips!!!i cranked my my light when I first got it. She’s hungry when set on full tilt! I do understand you concern. Let me get you some better numbers : ) at some point![]()

Bring on the 60 mph winds!
You got some beautiful plants and they seem to be trained to be ready for a little wind.View attachment 2544852

I cut them down, extreme training. They might become seals!Your grow is so nice

Great work! What strain(s) did you go with? Seed bank?I feel as if if I’m about 2 weeks weeks away from harvesting. First time grower here, and I’m proud of her. Any thoughts or comments on when to harvest would be appreciated. I understand to wait until the pistils on 50-70% of the plant turns an amber color from videos I’ve watched. Happy Sunday everyoneView attachment 2545138
Thank you! The thing is I don’t know the exact strain since I just got my seeds from a friend just giving them away (he didn’t know either), but what I can say is that she’s got a citrus smell to her. Even with a 5 gallon pot, I’m estimating an easy 1.5 ounces.Great work! What strain(s) did you go with? Seed bank?
Looking good! Bountiful harvest is upon you soon!
I think you can safely double that estimateThank you! Really? How can you observe that from pictures to my observance lol. October can be unpredictable here but trying avoid the frost to harvest. I’d say about only 20% of the pistils have changed color.I think you can safely double that estimate![]()
Just from experience. I’m no expert, but you said that’s a five gal pot, looks about 3 feet tall or more, quite a few branches…I think at least 3.Really? i on purpose cut tree branches in my front yard all year with my 18 inch machete, everyone in my neighbourhood has to drive by my house to come and go,..My brother had something similar happen to him. They cut into his green house 2 nights in a row and stole the tops of 2 plants. To make it even worse he found out it was a neighbor, confronted him, was pushed by the individual, my brother slapped him, before saying not to steal from him. The neighbor filed assault charges and trespassing charges against him....Any who....to your point. Cameras, motion activated lights, motion activated alarms and what my brother did....animal traps on perimeter of property....a good bear trap.....deterence is a good thing. Good luck to you my friend.
and gets slowly peered at by Nicks gleaming eyes through his blood stained hockey mask as he laughs with the shrillness of a banshee's cry in the cold October wind.i on purpose cut tree branches in my front yard all year with my 18 inch machete, everyone in my neighbourhood has to drive by my house to come and go,..
