Biscotti and Gorilla Zkittlez flowered for two weeks now. From Barney's Farm, both from seed. TA tripart + silicate.

Vegging in coco: Shiskaberry, clones from flowering plants. They have nine weeks so I don't mind how they are now... Biscotti is slowest so she'll be in bubbler soon. No proper light atm, getting one delivered in a week. Repotting coming.

320W +70W under canopy is good amount of light. This time I wont exceed 1100μmol.. I put some paper pieces in front of the LED bars that are over Gorilla Z. Now there's an even 60K lux spread for both plants, with edges being 50K and far corners 42K. The main light is Lumen King 400W eco-line, and under canopy Viparspectra P1000 100W.

Vegetative tent is getting its DIY fan system with digital, displayed 60VA 3-12V transformer. Clip-on style steel band and LED bar holders + hard wire. Sturdy, easy to install and modify. Planning to install 2+2 fans pushing gently from above and below in that 15° angle.

Ec is now stable around 440-470ppm and ladies drink prudently, all good 😊

Another defoliation done. This was third since the beginning of flowering...seems to never end 🫠

And some of the best stuff for coco, this kelp extract. Along mycorrhizae, a must have🤌🤌

After Remo, colour is getting healthier now. I'm used to grow dark green OD'd plants in DWC, whereas these ones will be very light green and low EC... Will be much different looking plants than usual. Shiskaberry growing roots through bottom so repotting into 3.4L very soon.

Gorilla Z clone (front right) starting to get LST. Two extra clones there now, 3 plants will be grown by me. No idea what happens to the other clones at the back in black pots.

I almost gave up already...with this diary here. Well anyways, yesterday I put mild 415ppm solution, it dropped down to 260ppm in one day. So the nutrient imbalances have stopped, reserves have emptied and therefore I'm starting to raise TDS moderately. Began with 480ppm, and after 10 hours of lights it sits around 505ppm. pH had risen up to 6.2>>6.8 which tells that silicate is doing it's job and feed consumption is projecting a good way forward.

Biscotti has so small nugs. Maybe it was poor managing at critical point, maybe phenotype. I'm guessing I failed with it overdosing too much with Terra Aquatica feed.

Vegetative tent today:

Shiskaberry has cal-mag deficiency because the unbuffered coco. Infact, only the smaller clones in smaller pots are healthy, for they are in the shade and conserve energy more. Also made one mistake, gave them all flowering feed from a wrong bucket. Labeled them now 😂
Also gave a 50% boost of velo kelp and cal-mag.

But there is so much time left for them in the vegging tent as usual, I'm not bothered of the bad looks at the moment. Anyways, I'm getting some needed perlite and start repotting soon-ish. Sticking with the plan to put biscotti in DWC.

Thanks for giving the first reply mate!

I suspect she'll surprise me at quality rather than yield.. next up clone will be more balanced with feeding... No more Terra Aquatica, going with Remo.

Ah well, if they work and you like them.....its all good!!

I haven't looked much folks' experiences with it.. do you have something about Remo or?

This is the second time I'm using it, main reason being for coco grow now, where the semi-organic line works wonders.

Previously I didn't measure EC (just got a pen after a decade), which made all much worse for the plants - dilutions, removing fresh feed, reservoir changes...

Now, flowering DWC plants are happy around 440-470ppm, whereas in the past TDS was definitely over 1000ppm. With Terra Aquatica I always overfed too. Also I have Silicate these days too...

I also run dwc system have you ever considered general hydroponics nutrients my girls love it and there's a calculator for mixing
