If I'm understanding correctly; all hemp and THC-A loopholes, all the way down to and including seeds have been closed with the new laws they just passed. The new laws go into effect in Nov 2026.

I'm going to predict that seeds will increase in price, leading up to the 2026 deadline and may become difficult to legally obtain after that.

Lets hope I'm wrong.

Haven’t shown these girls in a week or so lol, and both were ripped at the e 5th node 3 days ago at last watering, soil Kostyra at 60% at the bottom 35% at top perfect for stretchin roots out since they went in, now they are showin the upward and outward growth,

Don’t the white is Diatomaceous Earth (dropped some on the Leaf lol) I like to go around the top edge of the dirt right against the wall and I take a 1tbs measuring spoon and take a scoop and put it against the top lip of the bag and slide it all the way around, nice barrier and any gnats etc that do dly will land on those dry bag lips and bye bye… that coupled with the BTI, nothin flying Around these bags have had 3 cycles of cover crop chop and drop without getting any gnats during the composting phases at all lol, worms eat it too quick I think

Mike what are the little green things in your pots. Is that a sensor or what? Always wondered lol

This is a 2 pronged approach by those who do not want cannabis available.
The first is the alcohol lobby that is loosing money when people stop drinking alcohol for THC products. This is money pure and simple.
The 2nd is the dispensaries and growers who see their monopoly on cannabis availability starting to drop.
An astounding number of grow lights and tents have been sold in the USA. This product from our grows is not taxed and not regulated.
I literally know 20 people local who grow pot. Most are like me older more established and have no intention of ever selling our weed.

I think we need an endless stream of dispensary users to inform there folks that in the event of more restrictions on self grow the state will either tax you out of business or people will just go back to our buddies down the road selling street weed.
When this started in Ohio it was a voter ran law. It was so poorly written that it should have been rejected but people saw Legal WEED and were lied to.

Why in the hell would you let the same government who denied you cannabis set up the rules and regulations and the tax rate.
If this would have been written properly it would have forced the government to do what we voted for.
As it is now they ARE doing what they voted for. Making changes to restrict availability and increase taxes.
All these dispensaries will be out of business in 3 years at this rate.

The idea that you can produce a legal product in one state and not take it to another state is also more fuckery that is stupid stupid stupid.
Let's see the state run with this and make every state have its own auto manufacturer and TV manufacturers and such.
Need a coca cola plant in every state.
You can not sell that tomato here you need to sell ohio tomatoes only.

Anyone remember the tool used by the federal government in 1937 to get a new way to punish people for having pot?

I can totally see states bring this back for home growers.

Looks like another few days at least. Lot of pain still at the drain site. They're going to do a scan today to see how she's progressing. I've moved in and sleep here. I get home once a day but the plants are of course suffering. They get fertigated and forgotten by the tine I'm on my way back.

We have had some outstanding nurses, doctors and orderly's. Our night nurse stopped in at 7am on his way home just to say goodbye and thank us. We did have a nurse Ratched yesterday but they are far and few between.

It's been pretty difficult. Emotions are frayed, little sleep, worry, dread and all the rest. I've been telling her a bunch of fking POTheads are sending their love. She's sleeping right now but as soon as she wakes I'll read her what you said with tears of joy in my eyes

According to AI seeds will not fall under these laws because they do not contain intoxicating levels of either delta 8 or 9 thc. But who knows, they may come for our seeds in the future so we need more cannabis friendly lawmakers on the state and federal level so everyone vote every chance you get. Let's face it, they screwed up when they originally wrote the Hemp Farm Bill and a technical detail that we all know was an oversight allowed regular weed to be bought, sold and traded legally on a federal level, so long as certain parameters were followed. So there are folks who learned how to play the game and they've profited nicely. We always have to interpret these things as worst case scenarios for a grassroots advocacy pushback, but at the heart of this, they're mainly going after gas station weed and if you're playing that game, you're probably the only one who's gonna notice much of a difference.

None of these laws are going to change what I'm doing for myself and mine, but they do determine how tightly I'm clenching my ass cheeks while I'm doing it.

Clouds and rain in the forecast for the foreseeable future so I had to move the flowergirls to the shed. I've also got some vegging girls so the sucky part is I gotta pull these one out at sunset and swap em out so the vegging girls get their overnight supplemental. 280w I'm undergunned for a 4x5 but they're still getting a little bit more ppfd than they'd get off a rainy day, less the rain.

Mike what are the little green things in your pots. Is that a sensor or what? Always wondered lol

Yep that’s the upper layer moisture sensor that’s the EcoWitt WH51 moisture sensor, the black wire going into the pots are WH51L’s they have a 3-4’ wire between the readout and the sensor to you can bury the sensor really deep, mine are positioned horizontally about 4” from the bottom of the pots

To use those properly you need the gateway as well, that gives you temp/ humidity/ barometric pressure in the readout in the app, the sensors only do moisture

You can see from the readout that I haven’t watered the 4x4 in about 6 days I’ll go back and water it tomorrow morning most likely, gotta keep those microbes and worms happy in there

You can monitor dryback rates easy with the charts as well, each sensor has its own chart

Looks like legal states will stay the same minus selling hard seltzers and delta 8 etc, the dispos will stay as they are but looks like the may lose any ability to sell edibles or anything other than flower, im near the rez so they’ll sell everything anyways but I’m the same as you I’m good in seeds for life if I need more I’ll make em. But that’s a long time from now lol, Luckily it looks like all the state grow laws stay the same same with state med licences minus shipping stuff,

I read they were sneaking it in before Ron called it out. I tried to find it but the page wasn’t correct on the bill. I believe the semantics implied intoxicating products such as the delta 8 and 9 products for hemp or cbd products would be impacted. Someone else on that thread stated his state had already been using a tool that would convert those loophole products and convert it to thc and charge people for possession of marijuana. From what I understand it isn’t the cbd that’s being targeted it’s the loophole products sold at gas stations.

I think of how crazy I could get in coco and mutilple fertigations a day with crop steering an all that shit. Just really knowing what’s going on in there instead of not being a guess. Another rabbit hole to go down haha
