Not a stretched plant at all lmao . And it’s not a single bud it’s a calyxe. I got rid of all flarp. Testing a theory. Bud hasn’t even developed yet. Once it does it will stretch.
how many cm of nothing is aceptable before you can say its stretched?

But sorry i didnt know you where a crack baby before not gonna spam you a lot :* welcome to the forum read up on some.we have a few good growers.we recently had a dude achive 3g/w now is aming for more

The “cm of nothing” used to have leaves and calyxe/flarp growing. I pulled them all off! Like I said testing a theory I have researched. If you zoom in just a tiny bit you can see where the nodes used to be for each layer.

Pretty sure nothing grows under the colyadons and they are almost at the half the plant size. But okej if your testing stuff probably gonna go with sog?

Nothing has grown under the colyadons.

What I’m saying is everything has been pulled off. Every fan leaf and calyxe/flarp that was there as it grew and as I saw fit for this experiment. I should see explosive results on top as all nutrients should be focused on the 1 bud site and the stretch. That’s the goal and hope.

What does sog stand for?

@420_PlantDaddy; Just a couple initial observations:

1) You're very arrogant; that could be good, or that could be bad; time will tell. I'm guessing you're under 24 years of age.
2) Your little popsicle plants are "cute"
3) Either you're not paying very good attention, or you should consider a better coach.

A little humility goes a long way in life. Especially around here at the farm.

Welcome 👊😎

Dude that's laughable... you talk all this arrogant smack, and you don't even know haw to spell "calyx" or what they are...

  • A calyx (singular) is one tiny, tear-drop shaped pod at the base of a pistil.
  • A group of them is called calyces (plural).
  • When many calyces pack tightly together around a node or flower cluster, they form what growers call a bud, flower, or cola.
🔍 What the image shows:
  • Several calyces tightly packed
  • Multiple pistils (the orange hairs) emerging
  • Lots of trichomes on each calyx
  • The early structure of a developing flower cluster
It’s a macro of a calyx cluster, not a single standalone calyx.

Cotyledons

(spelled: c-o-t-y-l-e-d-o-n-s)

These are the first two seed leaves that emerge when a cannabis seed (or any dicot plant) sprouts.

Quick facts:

  • Cotyledons are not true leaves
  • They feed the seedling for the first few days
  • They are smooth, rounded, and appear in a pair
  • They fall off once the plant forms its first real serrated leaves

SOG= sea of green

I have never heard of "flarp" What you're referring to is "larf"

“Larf” is a real cannabis-culture word — and it has a very specific meaning.

Larf refers to small, airy, underdeveloped buds that grow on the lower parts of a cannabis plant.

This is all beginner knowledge that you should know... just saying...

Hang around the farm and chill and you may learn some things you don't know about cannabis and cannabis cultivation 👊😎

every time I used the word cylaxe I meant cylaxes. Yes that is what they are right now..

I wouldn’t consider myself arrogant. I’m willing to learn. And I had all the knowledge that you just laid out. Yeah maybe some misspellings and mispronunciations.. but it was there.

I am 33 and I have 3 beautiful boys. My oldest will be 14 in a few weeks.

They might be “cute” but the genetics don’t miss. Nor my techniques..

Also the coaching hasn’t officially started. I’ve only gotten some pointers . He’s coaching a full run in a few weeks when the eternal cup starts with a side by side comparison of my own.

It’s impossible to humiliate me. I’m in it for the passion of growing and growing with others.

Cotyledons - I definitely spelled this wrong cuz I searched the word he used and it didn’t correct it so not sure if both terms are correct or not ?

SOG - sea of green, bet but what does that mean

Yes now that you mention it I do remember hearing larf .. I heard it and researched it a bit . And adopted my own slang by accident .. I do like the term flarp though

nice start! But let me tell you some things to better your grow.

1. Top. It’s amazing. It doesn’t stun or trigger flowering. Just pushes back a week.
2. Since you are growing indoors I suggest you to put something like a Mylar around the plants so that you don’t waste photons.
3. Top up your soil in the pots.
4. Don’t trim the branches and leave the top cola only.

Check out the strain show on YouTube.
These are mine now, they are 12 days old.

"SOG " means:
S - Sit back & listen
O - Offer NO advice
G - Get off the high horse.
Of course, SOG, has different definitions depending on

Thanks for the info .

I have tents and equipment. Currently in a not so adequate environment. I am rehoming these plants as fast as possible so they can have better homes till I get my new apartment in January and I do my eternal cup sticky broccoli run. I’m doing the photoperiod fems.

How did you take those amazing photos? Best close up I've seen here!

The following is only my opinion/observation :

Humility is a human characteristic that must be developed and is not a natural tendency. The earlier one learns humility the better
Since August I have 3 grand kids living in my house along with my daughter and SIL. They're moving into a home locally after relocating from CO. It's been great other than the 6 yo is a special challenge. She's beyond smart BUT has behavior issues such as selfishness and caring mainly about herself. I told my daughter that she needs to be taught humility and she agrees. I say to teach humility you need to humiliate the subject. My daughter, and wife, don't agree with me.
What's the best way to teach humility?

Humility is a trait of weakness. Why should one learn to be humiliated.

Are they autos or photos ?

Plus I still have a lot to learn I’m not close minded.
I have a growth mindset.
I have a lot of experience to gain.

Not topping came from a highly respected grower who created the best soil on the planet for cannabis. I also use that soil, and have

Are they autos or photos ?
Those are photoperiodic but I doesn’t matter. There are only a handful of autos that don’t handle well topping. I know where you’ve heard that topping is bad. From that guy in the podcast I’ve seen it too. But trust me, there are people here who grow years and years. And if you want to evolve your grows you should start asking for advices. Or they will simply let fail again and again. I also ask things here. You should definitely read extensively. Not just the words. Understand the energy distribution, ph ec etc. master the basics and you will grow. Leave the terms and details for later. This is my advice as fellow grower.

I already know all that though . And have room to learn more and grow.
But losing a week every time you top is less time for another run every time so once I have my license and I’m fully a business.. I will have higher production and higher yields without topping. Besides I have plenty of time to do side by sides with topping and not topping.

I’m running FD9600 by Phlizon in a 1.20x1.20x2.0 m tent. This is overkill but I dim it and have good exhaust fan.
Dope. I got basic cheap lights. Running on extreme budget. Went from 1 2x2 to now $4,000-$5,000 worth of equipment and 4 tents. Will be getting a fifth in January. Then to venture on to bigger tents and better equipment.
