Here’s what I’ve found as far as UV and why I started using it,

UV reduces plant stretch and internodal spacing, adding UV-B (and to a lesser extent UV-A which is what most UV/IR supplemental bars use) have been proven to reduce plant stretch by 20 to 50%, I don’t see that much of a reduction but 20% does seem about right, result is a shorter bushier plant with thicker stems.


I run the bars the whole grow, UV only during veg, once I flip I turn on Both UV and IR (my bars have selector switch so I can run one, the other, or both)

Might get one as well this grow i got too much stretch

The ir also helps resin and potency production. The additionals definitely help against stretch as well as a better yield, also helps the THC mature a little more evenly in my opinion. Some try to say it makes it flower faster, but I haven't seen that, that's is a myth from what I have seen other than it helping the stack on the buds and potency. You are correct to use them during the different phases of flowering. I have mine turn on a few hours after my main lights turn on, then two hours before lights out. I haven't tried running them the whole day because I have heard that it isn't necessary to have them on the whole day.

The lights through most of the main light manufacturers are now giving the option to upgrade the light with the uv /ir additionals , the upgrade is about 150-500 depending on brand and size of light.

I know 760nm will make her stretch since thata the light that usually vomes in under canopy not recomended to have lots during stretch. And combo 660 and 760 makes some emerson effect should be super good for her

I had to smoke my weedies after seeing his pictures to remind myself what weed should look like lol. It was like looking at a low budget horror film. Then the video you chose definitely fits for him. Like who pulls up into a thread to make a complete fool of themselves. It's probably the m@th he is doing, not the cannabis, if that's what he calls it..

Ahhhh all mine is like an ounce ground mixed with hash so like... I forgot what it looks like, you have to send me a pound. My eyesight isn't as good as it was.
