I’ve been blasting the plants top to bottom and underside and pots and medium with dr bronners. I picked up some more iso which im going to make a batch for the spray bottle, im going to go through and try and hit all the lower parts of the plants with that. 🤷‍♂️
Make sure you cover the soil when you spray the iso! Don’t want it dripping down into it! You probably already know that, though! Can’t be too careful!🥴

FUCK!🤦‍♂️

it was just a mist! hahahaha! i was just telling my wife if I wasn’t tripping on the smoke id of thrown this run so far out the fucking front door it’d land int the road like yesterday!🤣

we’ll see how it goes. not long to go, but if it is the mites, those things will have these plants fugged by weeks end if i dont keep blasting them with shit. 😂🍻✌️

Those bugs just gave me the chills. They look destructive.

he’s not flowering on those plants.
Yeah they seem pretty hearty! I got some stuff for their ass once the flowering plants are done, im going to start pulling stuff out of the shed tomorrow and wiping and spraying with iso. The spray should kill on contact : ) just dont want it on your buds.

Thank Haze! I’ll be getting more of this in the backyard : )

Another iso/water spray. Lightly, and I made sure to not soak the medium or spray enough so it runs down the stalk. 🤷‍♂️ im optimistic at this point. one of the plants has started to fog up a bit on the trichomes, coming down to it, thats for sure. (dont tell anybody but im pretty not optimistic about it lol) just have to fake it till you make it!🤣

We put a bunch of marigolds out front in the strawberry patch and they worked awesome to attract the bugs!

Man you don’t wanna see my grow 🤣
Goddamn spider mites seem like a permanent fixture at this point. I absolutely hate spraying my plants with anything really. Especially when they are in flower. Even though it’s just essential oils and water, I worry about inviting mold into the equation. Just saturated all three tents , two of which are lights off at the moment. Third is lights on which I worry about burning the plant.

feel your pain Marty, just pulled the wife's flowers as they were covered. Oh, and I call BS on the marigold! They attract freaking mites like a motel's neon sign on hooker row

So part of my methodology of treatment is unknown to me. Im learning the tolerances of the plants and pests alike : ) im hurtin for sure, but if i start to wear it, thats no good, so im proceeding as much as i can with a educational fuck it, if you will lol!

Yeah id have to spray them little bastards for sure! Had a buddy years ago with spider mites😳 if i can get my plants closer to the end, I’ll declare spider mites nastier and more fugged up on a plant than the russet! the webs on the buds alone were enough to burn the whole operation down.

hope you get it under control.

im already thinking im going to inclose the shed porch completely and make that my “alcohol spray myself station area”🤣 no joke.

So thats what i was thinking at first jj! But what i noticed is the bugs only went to the marigolds and stayed there : ) sure i still had to treat a little but, but the damn bugs that were roasting the strawberries hung out on the marigolds.

That’s how I originally got the spider mites, I was growing a couple strawberry plants in my kitchen pantry. One day I pulled them out to pick some strawberries and they were covered with webs. This was two summers ago. The things have been a problem ever since. The worst part about them is the fact that they show up randomly. I won’t see them in veg very often, but once I have plants in mid flower they magically appear. Goddamn things actually ramp up resin production in plants that they attack too. When I spray for them I will take a damp cloth and remove the webs off of the buds.

Growsafe is effective on mites. I’d probably go that route for your grow room. One treatment is all I’ve ever needed. But it comes with side effects which is why up to now I’ve not used it in the house. It does leave an oily film on everything it touches. Not ever noticed it on my buds but the walls are sticky

Yeah im wondering if what im seeing in trichomes is just stress response? They seemed to be decently far along but still definitely affected.

One thing i have noticed on the am haze is it’s starting to flower (again?). After I flipped it, it started the stretch and thats when i noticed the deformed growth and hardly any hairs. So if thats any indicator that im winning I’ll take it lol! Could just be the plant doing its thing also? I dont know, man, im just floatin down the creak without my paddle. I got some spray though! 🤣✌️

I’ll check it out. Thank you jj ✌️

Marigolds are a good companion plant because it kills unwanted winged pests.

Why can't you throw some copper infused butterfly net over the plant and electrify it? Seems logical.

Edit: ok so copper infused fungicides are 10,000x better for mites according to chat. Try that. Copper is a toxic they can't take.
