Hopefully that little tail will grow! Sometimes they do and sometimes they don’t as you well know! I like to get about a half inch of tail before they go into the solos if they cooperate! But always seem to lose a few no matter what! I’ve had better luck keeping it pretty warm while they are germinating! Until they get their first true leaves! Fun, fun, fun!😍

I figured as much. I'm not in prime location, nor level of growing as Humboldt, so I don't rely on the posted info for yields, but more on pest and mold resilience, and shorter mature rates for my location.

This one popped up on my radar, amongst many others, most are indica strong. I'm off work till April, so researching every day for strains best suited for my location, and growing in ground, outdoors.

I have guys I can get clones or seedlings thru, but germinating my own, and the price for seeds is actually cheaper, for me. And I can pick what I want to grow, not his limited selection that he grew, and get shorted out of 2 other plants that I was supposed to get. He sold them out from under me, and didn't say anything till he dropped the other two off to me.😡

Bad enough the one I germed ended up a male ( bag seed ), so from 5, I'm now with 2 plants, and hoping that one or both don't die during the season. I like back ups, just in case.
Hey Hoss! I got mites but I’ll send you what ever you want! I’ll be taking cuttings here pretty soon. ✌️

Man that'd be great, but I can't do anything with them till April or May.

I usually pop my beans late March, and transplant to outside in May.

Only have lights for seedlings ATM.

Greatly appreciate the offer, though. Very kind of u. I'll keep u in mind should shit hit the fan for me, though. Again.... Thank you very much.

I find on newer seed I let the tail grow and on older seed the root starts poking out the seed gets planted. It's like the nutrition available isn't good enough on old seed but what's in the earth gets the plant going.

I have a failure to launch on the blueberry kush☹️ the other 2 are doing fine day 3 above ground. I'm soaking another seed and will place it in a paper towel then into a baggy to germinate. Not sure what it is cause i'm using old bag seed. I'm not in a pickle for smoke as i've got 10+ quart jars of outdoor weed laying in a closet shelf. The seed that failed was a very tiny seed but i gave it a shot, this one is bigger and striped so i'm hoping it will pop.

Very sweet of you Bear, I do have a few of each variety left from my fem photo collection i just did'nt want to use those up yet. I don't know why i can't throw out these old beans from years back i just keep saving and decided to start growing those. Thank you for offering🥰

Morning @cpurola an the rest of you farmers. Not much action so far just 9 day old seedlings . I'm on my 3rd try germination with old bag seed, haven't had luck getting a healthy 🌱 sprout 😞.
If I don't see a root by tomorrow I'm just going to go with 2 plants in the 3x3.
The current 2 are working on their 2nd set of leaf right now there just 2blade.

I don't have them under a powerful light yet cause I am hoping to get a 3rd seedling. I'm going to fill my fabric pots up tomorrow an acclimate the soil inside the tent, reset my timer an be ready to begin the real grow.

I won't transplant them for a few more weeks but I'll place them in the tent on top of the final pots an hit them with the big light at about 30" @ 50%. That's my plan .

2 fem plants can fill up a 3x3. I'm growing 1 plant in a 4x4 now and the tent is full enough for me.
Ya know i'm just gonna do that. I came home from the farm store with another bag of happy frog soil cause i ran out filling the 2 pots and decided to just toss that old bean out and just go with the two i have just focus on them. Thanks for helping me out to decide.

Morning Farmers it's a cold and foggy start outside. My tent is staying warm enough but humidity is way low. This is what i get in my winter time grows without using humidifier. It will increase alittle maybe to 50% once these seedlings are transplanted and the pots get watered. This is the way i've always done it indoors winter grows are the worst very dry air. Anyhoo, these are 2wks old today my light is approx 30" at 50% had it at 75% and noticed slight yellowing so i turned it down. Nothing exciting to tell yet just letting them struggle through the enviornment i give them LOL. I'll start giving them some low dose mega crop when they are 21days old. That's it for the update.

Hello Farmers this is a 3wk update on my plants. On the left is RS-11 on the right is Blue Dream. Both germinated at the same time with BD being the fastest grower. After 3wks i'm calling this veg time. Gave them both 20oz of water plus Megacrop this a.m. Light is still at 50% 28" above canopy.
Temps with light on is 78-80f unfortunitly humidity is staying between 30-45% i'd rather see the 45% always LOL. Anyway all looks good i will bump up the light to 75% on wk 4 see how it goes. Today is the beginning of air movement so fan will be placed in front of tent door for a few hrs or longer each day. Tootle Loo for now, oh.......just cold and foggy where i'm at in Oregon no rain in site the mountain ski resorts are not having a good season lack of snow. And NO i don't want any at my place, sorry for you Easterners.🥶✌️

I’ve been giving my little a dose of mega : ) they really like it!

Morning Farmers hope your day is going well. Boy did i have a good burger last night at a little pub not far from my house. Really messy good lots of napkins and the fries are fresh cut. No beer with it i usually do but i waited till i got home LOL. Then it was a whiskey & ginger ale my current favorite sipper after dinner. Damn it was so nice outside like spring 55f makes me alittle leary of what the next 3 months will be like. Feb. is full on rain monsoons or snow unpredictable anymore could snow in March.

Anyhoo, here are RS-ll x Okie on the left and Blue dream on the right 4wks old today. I've not watered to run off yet still chasing around the root zone. It takes about 1/2gal to have it run out the bottom and i pour very slowly. So these get approx. 40oz ea with some megacrop every other feeding for now. I topped the blue dream but the RS-ll is abit slower so i'm waiting for at least 4 nodes. I started the fan today to move the air some, it's standing outside the tent just slight breeze to move the leaves abit and strengthen the branches for the future🪴💃 i'll update in another 7days.

I'm so envious of your warm weather. Had to put 3 layers on just to walk out to the mailbox. Geesch.
Your plants are so healthy and green, how much Megacrop do you use? I'm going to be very careful with feed this time.

Hey that was me with the layers about a week ago . In the 20's an breezy my bones can't take the freezer temps like I use to. I suppose if I'd been raised in it an knew no difference then maybe?
I mix 1 teaspoon in 1 gal . I've not used a gallon on these yet so the rest goes on my houseplants.
