We got 4 half gal, had the old paper caps (not sure what they really were, wax paper or something like it) and I barely remember it. I think it was twice a week. But I don't remember an insulated box. Could have been.

Here's a Akron milk Co. Bottle.

They talk about plastics saving trees, and recycling was the future.

Fuck....we were already self sufficient, and didn't waste shit.

Returnable glass bottles, that were remelted and formed again after so many uses.

Paper bags....had numerous purposes, + easily recyclable.

Grew and canned our own food, with reusable containers.

The list is endless

We do most of that now😉 I recycle all table scraps except meat or dairy.

Another batch of fun

This has been a dynamite winter for growing in Southern California... A stark contrast to last winter's bullshit 100mph winds. Around Christmas and New Year we had an insane amount of rain and then the Santa Ana's rolled through and have stayed put for pretty much a month straight, meaning we have missed the cold of winter up until now, and we only have about another 6 weeks window where it even has the potential to be nasty. But that all might be coming to an end. Just heard the weather folks say the Santa Ana pattern is finally breaking up.

Good evening everyone. My lasko fan died today. It is an oscillating fan. I point it at the open tent for lights on to reduce temperature. Then I reverse it and try to blow the lung room out during lights out. I am going to monitor it the humidity tonight and see how that goes. There’s plenty at the depot to replace it. The thing had a good run sort of I guess. My dad had fans from the 50s that still worked. Rip Mr Fan . Your presence has created life beyond you.
