Sometimes those volunteers can surprise you (ask me how I know), you'll have a hella head start on next year! Just yesterday I found a seedling in one of the pots in my tent, and I'll grow it out until I can put it outside in late may.
Yeah, they can surprise you! This is my volunteer from last summer! Was looking pretty good until Code enforcement came by and told me to 86 it! Location, location, location!😂🍻 never got a chance to flower! Chopped on August 11!

Just doing their job! I’m the dumb ass that left it where it was! They stopped at that! I could’ve gotten a visit from the sheriff, and that would’ve opened up a whole can of worms! The volunteer was just the tip of the iceberg! They are all right in my book!😍
I understand that but in a state that supposedly legalized...not my definition.

It’s county by county when it comes to outdoor growing! Or city by city! You can possess it in reasonable amounts, which I have far exceeded, but you can’t grow it outdoors! Local government sets the growing rules! This is a conservative county with only 50,000 people! Things are changing as the population grows older, but not fast enough that I will ever see it legal! If you don’t rub their noses in it, the authorities won’t bother you and if you’re small time like me! A lot of crime comes along with outdoor grows, like it or not!

They can't be seen by publc
Yeah, you could see that big fucker from the road! And a bunch of delivery drivers would go right past it! Anyone could’ve said something about it! And being an old fuck, I get a lot of deliveries! It’s just flat out illegal to grow outdoors in this county! They make it plain! And greenhouses are considered outdoors! Ha ha

Yep, I'm TOTALLY illegal, but in a different state, and nice neighbors, and an 'I don't give a ....' attitude. Sorry chucky. LOL
Me too i cpurola. I had 7 3over the limit plus 9autos sitting on my picnic table when a cop visited me. I was burning sticks an leaves and he poke his head thru my gate, scared me bad. He did'nt even blink at the plants no lie. He was concerned about the smoke. Damn that was a 3 doobie day.

I know and I get it. We've got 20K people here in this county and it's shrinking yearly and it would likely end up the same way if statewide was passed (doubtful). Hell, we are dry.

No booze either? My brother lived in a dry county in Alabama! Had to drive to Tennessee to get some hooch! I know about Arkansas and weed! The Hazen Arkansas PD is on on patrol live every Friday and Saturday! My favorite show! Never get tired of watching idiots like I used to be get thrown in jail! Lol!

Thankfully when they passed the IRS code years back they can't stop me from making my own hooch or transporting it across county line but yes, I have to drive 30+ miles to buy beer or whiskey. So when we go...we plan ahead and wait for sales to stock up 🤣

My mountain place is in the same county as you, I'm well off the road, but our renter has multiple Amazon/UPS deliveries a week, and they come right by my house on our private road, the plants were 10 feet away from the road. I was surprised I never had any issues. The county I live in will allow personal outdoor growing, as long as the plants are not visible from any public right-of-way, and of course if someone complains about the smell, you're hosed! No commercial growing is allowed.

I think you’re in Shasta county! This is Tehama county! I know it used to be legal in Shasta, but then they change that a few years back! So I think it’s legal to grow in downtown Redding, but illegal to grow in the unincorporated area of Shasta County! Go figure! I might be right about that! Lol! Looks like you are right! I thought they had made it illegal to grow outdoors in unincorporated Shasta! There has to be more detailed regulations than those two paragraphs!
