Question for the Trainwreck.

I have a a few plants that I had decided to try a mainline 16 cola grow. 2 of them are Blackberry Moonrocks and 1 is a Gelato x Girl scout cookies.
The BBMR looks to be presenting the ideal growth for this training. I have new growth tops coming out of the node and running out with the fan leaf.

The GXGSC is presenting the huge indica leafs and is to busy making them bigger.

You can see the new growth is stalled at the main stem.

My question is this. It does not appear that this specific plant would be a good candidate for a manifold. I think it would stall the next step as it appears to be a week behind.
Should I just flop this girl over and pull in a direction that will get some more light on the subject or does anyone think topping it low would clear the areas enough to get the manifold built and not be weeks behind the other plant.
2 of these seeds all came out on the 3rd day and the 3rd one was relaunched 10 days later and has almost caught up.

Your instinct is on point. The top plant already has much better structure for a manifold. If you have a pheno that waits a long time to develop its side branching like the bottom one it will take forever to veg. Topping is going to boost that growth either way, so best to do it now and see how the plant responds. It could catch up quick and not be a problem. If you're going to top it anyway (which I assume you will) there's no need to decide what happens beyond that point yet. You can always cut a plant back later.

Sometimes a particular plant shows more trauma than others and takes a longer time to overcome topping or even repotting and will never catch up. It may surprise you once it is allowed the time to recover and start growing again but will always be smaller.

Personally I'd top it low at this point and give it time but I have the space, of I really like the strain.

When I've done mainlining in the past I'd cut just above 3rd node once the plant grows to 5th node and then at 2nd node, then again at 2nd node for 8 tops. And again at 2nd node for 16 tops.

If I could only grow indoors my goal would be filling space with as many seedlings as I could and flipping them quick for a 3 1/2-4 month turnaround. 2 tents started every other month from each other would produce a very nice harvest

I screwed up my back last week. It hurts to sit. I swear I reinjured it and last night picking up a pillow. So back to work and I to sit which aggravates it. I decided to try some cbd cream from the dispo. So far I am not too impressed. Hurts like a mofo still. The hand I applied it with is still cold like 4 hours later.

Do any of those CBD rubs contain lidocaine? Cannabis relieves pain by attacking inflammation. So it will suppress pain driven by inflammation, but for an underlying injury you probably need some kind of localized nerve block.

I've found topical meds work way better with a THC base over CBD. You can extract the THC into coconut oil and then add it into the CBD you purchased or just use as is. THC has made a huge difference with my wife's neurothapy pain

My guess is that by the time the 2 BBMR are ready to flip the topped GXGSC will also be ready. Going to pull it over and tie some stuff down. Going to do first step in manifold. Will give one day to loose some water so tomorrow 6 ish.
The White Widow will prolly be done weeks before these 3 plants. I got no plans for 5 months

Yeah it was the same thing that happened to me.

I can't even remember what it was i was thinking about while it happened.

I got a vague feeling it was something about growing.
