Nope. They are from 2 different people who lived/lives in Hawaii. Both of which do some breeding. These seeds have not had anything bred into them...
Cool, I wasn't questioning purity I was just curious if they were just different batches from the same breeder and lineage or entirely different lineage. Thanks and still watching! Loving it.

I'll explain more of what I'm doing as time comes. Essentially I'm gonna kill the males from the kona 2s and everything gets pollenated with the original konas. That will make 2 different lines. There will be an extra generation of the original konas and there will be a kona x kona with the second batch. Moreso a kona f1..

Thanks brother, I really appreciate the support! Thanks for the questions too!

Cool and no need to explain. But, once you cross K1 to K2 your resultant seeds will be 1/2 K1 1/2 K2, aka hybrid, so not entirely different line so to speak. They'll just be a hybrid of the same two lines. From there you'll need to heavily cull to only retain the phenotypes you wish to propagate, or just let nature be nature and let nature sort it out via open pollination.

Yes sir, thank you! I'm going to keep any females in k1 too. So there will be k1 x k1, and k1 x k2. I think idk, I'm pretty stoned right now..

All but one of the kona 2s have popped. I buried 8 and left the remaining ones in the cd tray. I'm hoping to get 12 good plants and I plan on planting in 3 gallon pots...
