I use to own a copy of this album back in the day and forgot how funny it was. The sketches on That's Not Funny, That's Sick star John Belushi, Brian Doyle-Murray, Bill Murray, and Christopher Guest, and feature, among others, Richard Belzer. Writers included Doyle-Murray, Bill Murray, Guest, Belzer, John Weidman, Bob Tischler, Tony Hendra, Harold Ramis, Douglas Kenney, and Bruce McCall.

Watched it. I can't say it was hysterical but it was amusing in a very creepy way...I liked the drama of the delays as he took a puff.

The scene I can't find online is the one where Bill Bixby did a parody Excedrin commercial. My memory of it is he walks you through their clinical study lab where people are getting hit in the head with robotic hammers to give them a headache so they could test the medicine or something.

Some morning bud shots. Only the grape pies are flowering right now. Ice Cream Cake has been on natural outdoor light for about a week and is beginning to stretch but not throwing hairs yet. Grape Pie wasn't much of a stretcher, it went straight to throwing hairs 3 days in. I'd call it about a 10-15% stretch.

Tired of the shitty photos this phone takes. Got a better phone getting delivered today. I went with a Pixel 8 Pro refurbished, not the latest model but still has 4 years of updates and I will definitely upgrade before that. A lot more phone for the money spent.

Just got a call from a mutual friend, Joey is playing down in Tustin tomorrow. Gonna head down.



This is a tale of two bands: Los Lobos and The Delgado Brothers. Both acts came out of East LA about the same time in history but one did a great cover that got selected as the title soundtrack for a movie. This is the only reason you've heard of Los Lobos but you never heard of the Delgado Brothers.

Never stepped foot in one, or even Amoeba for that matter. My stopover spots were Tower Records and Wherehouse, but if I was there, my money usually went to Ticketron.
