Mines a leach feeder. It feeds it ash tea every time it rains. 😌

I just had a colossal screw up outside. 🤣

Temps hit 95 so I went to move all the plants into the screen house which is about the equivalent of about 30% shade cloth. I was holding a plant.... Stepped on a brick in there I use for cloth pots. Lost my balance. Fell against the side of the screen house, knocked the whole thing on its side. Two plants had their dirt dumped all over the place and the top of a plant got damaged. I think the worst was one smaller plant that got bent up pretty bad but probably a 3 day recovery at worst. And it'll probably lignify there so they'll hold better bud weight later. But we shall never speak of this mishap again. 🥸

But you are fine? Sorry. I've dropped seedlings before, hard breaking.

I add it to my water can to raise the pH, when not giving nutes or not in the ground.
According to him, it doesn’t fuck with the pH as much as people think! And you don’t want your ash pile to get rained on because it’s leeches the good stuff out! A lot of it is water soluble! But he dilute it and applies weekly! From a watering can!

According to my pen 3 tablespoons to one gallon of water takes my pH from 5.7 to 6.0. Which is fine. I only add it when just using water since my veg nutes also have calcium, potassium and phosphorus and takes it to 6.2. Yes, it's mostly water soluble as potassium carbonate and calcium carbonate and it's why I don't use lime even though my soil is around 5.

And I agree, I keep it dry after I burn and collect. We also use it for the chickens for their dust baths.

He measures a gallon of dry into a 5 gallon bucket! Fills it up with water and mixes it up! And then uses that mixture at a 1 cup per gallon of water, dilution and waters his veggies! Just an FYI, if you want to play around with it!😃👍

As long as you didn’t break any bones and you’re OK, those plants are tough. Stay the course 🙃

To be honest...I probably won't but thanks. I wouldn't have even looked at the pH if I hadn't seen such a drastic change in my well pH from 6+ years ago. And, come to find out it was likely a typo. After I got these results I asked the guy, who was the same one who tested it previously and is a well guy, wtf? He said he's never seen any in this area change like that and the wells here, at my depth, are all slightly acidic. Which makes sense. And it was the only metric that changed, my hardness didn't, nothing else (within a range to be concerned) so I think I agree with him and it's an F up. So I bought strips, drops and a pen (cheap one) to see what I saw.

So I'm good, for a few more years anyway. But appreciate it! 😉.

When you have as many rabbits as I do, you have plenty of coco puffs to spread around. Like you and your fish...I would love to be closer to you to trade...I love fish!
I miss a good fried rabbit, like it better than fried chicken. Never got around to making hasenpfeffer. Something I always wanted to try.

Damn....now I'm fucking hungry. Could be that 3rd joint talkin. But it's been about 12 hrs since I ate last, too. Maybe I'll eat something..then smoke the rest of this joint, might help. 🙃

Buttermilk fried rabbit is incredible! My wife makes a homemade rabbit pot pie that is awesome too, home made crust and all. Still hangery?
