Here's Dolly she's got a adopter this coming saturday. Boy did i get mad at her but it's my fault for forgetting........to put the F-ing trash can outside before i left for the store this morningreally a big mess to come home do and i JUST mopped and vacummed yesterday. I threw all the dogs outside and closed off the dog door else i would of rolled up a newspaper. MY dogs don't knock over garbage when i'm away but this poor dog was so used to scavegging for food. She's got abandonmont issues/seperation fear. I'm sure she'll ease up after some months in a stable loving home. She's really a dream dog for anyone who gets her. I spoke to the folks who are gonna see her sat. told them all her issues they just blew it off they know her history. Just sound like really nice people who will love her and treat her well. But man was i pissed off seeing crap spread from my kitchen to living room arrrrgg.

As important as we stress not watering, we should also stress watering 'enough'. Such a delicate line.

I used to let them sit in the runoff water Cpur then i learned it was not the best for them. Just another lesson. And i lift my pots 5gal and under only LOL

There's two learning curves a new grower has to go through. Usually the first hard knock lesson is watering too often, and the second hard knock is watering without enough volume of water. If you learn those two things about water first, everything else you learn later comes a lot easier.

You can basically guarantee most problems here are from underwatering when you notice that almost every problem thread has pics of plants with barren medium pulling away from pots and tiny sprinkles of water around stems crating hydrophobic patches, varying EC and pH pockets and more. It's so annoying. No-one seems to be able to just water their pot evenly for some bizarre reason. The water in the medium is what keeps everything from swinging.

Meanwhile I water everything daily from the get go, run the pots off before seeds even go in and have never had these magic overwatering issues.

It's the bane of my existence.

Adding water every day, you are adding fresh oxygen every day as well. As water drains through the medium, it drags o2 with it, this is why rockwool works so well.

Been there. Scared for life. Women's bathrooms are the worst. Thought there was a dead baby wrapped up in toilet paper, laying next to a toilet, once. Think I encountered what looked to be volatile, vertical shitting as well.
How else do u shit on the wall and ceiling.!?

Talking about shitting myself. Wife asked me if I'd been in the attic, that she could see light around the ceiling door.

Aw shit....I know what that means, grab the pellet gun!!. 0 - 1.

Damn attic is a wreck. Fucker ate my vintage candy canes from the Christmas decorations, tore up the insulation., fucked up a section of sauffett, and who knows what else. .
Hopefully there's no little ones. I have a small box trap that I'll set up tomorrow, while I find out where she gave up the ghost .

They love marshmallows. Draws um out like a fresh turd does to a fly.

Haha… I did the solo graveyard shift at an 8-pump, 2-bay Amco in Houston back in the ’80s. Corporate was all hot and bothered about TBA—tires, batteries, and accessories—like I was gonna upsell a radiator hose at 3 AM to a guy who couldn’t find his own shoes.

Funny thing is… rave nights? I was their top salesman. Sold more TBA BS in a weekend than day shift did all week. Nothing like a parking lot full of chemically enhanced decision-making to move inventory.

This was back when my best friend (now gone) and I were hitchhiking around the country. Station sat right at the top of the 610 loop, with a big private all-night rave club across the street. Doors opened at 10 PM Thursday through Saturday, and from that point on it was basically a human science experiment.

And yeah—back then MDMA was still legal in Texas. Right up until it wasn’t. They gave everyone a deadline to get rid of it, and toward the end they were literally handing it out like breath mints in all the bars and clubs. So when I say I’ve seen some shit… I mean I’ve seen some shit.

Bathrooms? Oh yeah… not once a shift—multiple times a night during the raves. You haven’t lived until you’ve walked into that scene at 2:30 AM and just stood there reconsidering your life choices.

Luckily, the place was fully tiled and waterproof, and I had a hose that could peel the hide off a rhino at 10 paces. Thing reached the pumps, the lot, and the bathrooms no problem. I’d dump in a cup of industrial cleaner—killed the smell instantly, which was my personal kryptonite—and just hose ’em down like I was pressure-washing a crime scene.

Different times, man. Different times.

My first tax payer job was at a grocery store. I will second the statement that women’s bathrooms are way worse than men’s bathrooms. You see men get a bad rap for missing the toilet when they pee, but at least we aren’t shitting on the walls, floor and toilet seat. It’s gotta be a disconnect where men (myself ) included will take the time to clean a toilet seat before sitting down to do the business, whereas women can’t seem to be bothered cleaning the seat and must attempt to hover over the seat while doing their business. I don’t know if that is what is happening, but it’s all I can come up with logically in my mind. Either that or they’re exacting revenge on the grocery store for charging too much for a can of tuna fish.
