Seen any snakes yet? We’ve been hiking around the park a few times already and haven’t seen anything. I’m trying to come across a rattler so I can show the littles : )
No snakes yet, but about a week ago the lizards woke up around my place. They’re driving the dogs nuts. Dogs tore my woodpile apart try to get them! Which park?

OK, yeah I’d give the snakes another couple weeks, but we’re.having a heatwave so they could be out early. I was thinking Lassen, and it’s still way too cold up there. We have a fair amount of rattlers up in Old Station, last summer the dog found one, at least she knew enough to keep her distance and just bark at it. I gently dogs rattlesnake shots every spring.
Last rattler I ran into the dog found, I couldn’t hear it rattle until I was about 6 feet away! It was real quiet!
Yeah, I just checked out the latest sale email and see that he is on there! Will have to watch it in a little bit!
