50 days from pop for both tents. All going well. The haze chucks are slowing down a bit. Lights 14" away, and I can still raise it 12" so I shouldn't have to crop again. Will throw a second net in though for support in a week or two.

The Northern Lights X Juicy Fruit have slowed down drinking a bit now that strecth is done which is nice. Only putting about 1L in every morning now and that's just short of full saturation.

Question for you guys. Nlx hashplant has decided to necro the leaves. There still some white hairs. I put it under the microscope and I have amber trichs. The buds also appear seeded. What would cause this? Would you harvest based on thrichs or the hairs?
Almost always the trichomes, a lot of cannabis plants have the ability to self pollinate if they get close to maturity and haven’t been pollinated yet. It’s a self preservation thing. Throwing new white hairs is a way to increase their ability to become pollinated. The plant is also telling you that it’s close to harvest by cannibalising its own leaves. If you are seeing amber trichomes you are seeing degraded cannabinoids. Cloudy trichomes indicate peak maturity.

G'day farm! 🤩

Got the strawberries potted and set out in the screenhouse. 18 everbearers and I'll make another 7 from runners for an even 25.

Updated shots of the derp plant. This came from a bowl of random immature white seeds but based on the stem color this appears to be my first Blackberry Kush x Ice Cream Cake.

Right after I took this shot I moved her to the shade and blasted her with Dr. Bronner. Never you mind that they got a Dead Bug treatment 3 days... This is BUG COUNTRY!

My 18 month old Ice Cream Cake beginning to throw hair. Looks so fresh and beautiful... Yeah that won't last 🤣

Amazing! What's funny is when we were going through the human lockdown experiment there was a website called Cameo that we were using to have celebrities produce a brief custom greeting message that we would cue up during video calls and play for the board members. If that shit was available back then I could have saved myself a small fortune.

@Ninjadogma if the bugs are bad on your cannabis, what do you think they'll do to your strawberries?

From my past experience with strawberries, the biggest problem I had with bugs was rolly poly''s and they aren't even bugs, they're crustaceans. 🤣 I've solved that problem by having an elevated shelf setup. They're in the screenhouse so they have protection from moths but they will still get treated with BT, Captain Jack, Neem and a few other safe things I have in my arsenal.

The plants coexist with the problematic bugs around here, but only if you are dogmatic with your IPM. They'll come around and do some damage, but they'll never overrun a plant so long as you keep up the IPM.

have you taken it down yet? based off it eating itself you might consider chopping before it turns into a rot in the buds situation. trichs are cloudy with some amber, would be enough for me to take it.
is it seeded?
