I just picked up some of AN's Hammerhead and was wondering how everyone incorporates it into their feeding program.. I am using all AN stuff this round.. switched from Fox Farm products to AN to try and boost my yield a bit.. Sensi A+B, bud blood, big bud, voodoo juice, piranha, bud candy, overdrive.. So when should I use Hammerhead and at what rates?? All help is appreciated farmers :friday:

I use hammerhead week 2-4 with my canna coco a and b, canna boost. Hammer head will blow up your flowers nicels for the 2 weeks

i only use AB, calplex, bud candy and hammerhead....i use hammerhead from wk2-8 start at around 5-6ml/g and stick there til i add MOAB then back off the base nutes on GTD's/MOABs recommendation...

I don't have any MOAB.. is it similar to overdrive 1-5-4?? I know when I start overdrive I am supposed to reduce the rate of hammerhead just as you suggest is done for the MOAB combo.. I think I will use it in conjunction with the big bud @ 5-6 ml per gallon like TG suggests and then when I start overdrive I will reduce to 2.5ml per gallon.. Is MOAB just a PK booster like Hammerhead??

Sounds like your going with a hammerhead/BigBud combo? But get the powder big bud not the liquid

Yeah I got the powder big bud.. I am going to try the hammerhead/overdrive this round and if it does not work out I will pick up some of the MOAB and give it a go.. I got the powder because it was like half the cost.. is there a big difference in powder vs. liquid??

yes for max bud swell I go with powder.
I think powder is more potent
is over drive powder form???>>> why not just go with a hammerhead/big bud (powder) and scratch the overdrive<<<

big bud powder 0-17-38 or 0-15-40 i cant remember they keep changing it

overdrive is liquid and is 1-5-4 AN recommends wks. 1-2 bud blood, 3-7 big bud, and 8-9 overdrive.. this is for ten week strains which is damn near everything I run regardless of the strain I always like to push to 10 weeks.. I am running all OG's this round, Skywalker OG, Diablo OG, Valley OG, and a lone SFV OG bx2 that I have not flowered before.. and the big bud powder I have is 1-17-38..
Here is what the advancedepedia says about using overdrive instead of big bud in the last trimester..

Big Bud is indeed a top-producing bloom booster and Connoisseur is a premium bloom base nutrients formula. But Overdrive still gives you even more. For plants in their last 2-3 weeks of growth, the ingredients in Overdrive are more effective at increasing crop value than Big Bud, which is used earlier in bloom cycle.

I already bought the overdrive so I might as well give it a try.

My professional opinion and studies find:giggle that you hit the dank at the RIGHT time with PK and ya hit em hard. you push and push till you find the sweet spot.
AN is just lining there pocket books with your hard earned money buddy boy.
Since you already have it, give it a rip no doubt.>>>This might just work for you but for me I already have my set program.
Also in your last 2 weeks of growth you should just be running only water where AN is telling you to keep pumping shit to your plants

Yeah AN says to run nutes for 9 weeks and flush for only one.. I always flush two weeks or longer.. I might have to dump the overdrive and just pick up the MOAB since you have put in alot of work and time into finding that sweet spot to hit them with the PK.. I am in soil and only mix up a couple gallons at a time so it's either one or the other.. decisions decisions

If I pick the Mother of All Blooms I use it during weeks 7 and 8 right??

It will work just fine in soil and mixing a couple gallons at a time:)
Im not knockin advanced as they make really good shit>>I use 3 of there products..A lot of there stuff is just unnecessary to grow the Dizank

Hey gtd. How much moab are you using. For 9 week strains i do 1 tablespoon per 15 gallon week 6 and 8. Week 7 i hit them with 2 tablespoons per 15 gallons. I have been using it for years but never with another p/k but i definitially want to try it. I just tried super low doses of gravity weeks 7,8 and definitially saw it rebud and dense up, like 10ml for 70 gallons. Im going to hit them sooner this time and stop sooner so it finishes up and the rebudding sites have time to fill in more. or maybe take it ten weeks.

Yeah this is kinda what i was wondering, because even dropping the nutes in 1/2 and adding MOAB it still drops PPM even though it hits harder...at least in my regimin which had me wondering about dropping it earlier in the regimen.

Do you cut nutes in half when you hit with MOAB? During the 2wk swell i stick at what you are at 1tsp/5g or 1tbs/15g. Haven't gone much above that cuz i use the Hammerhead too. Week 7/8 (or 6/7) i do 3-4ml/g of hammerhead and hit em with teh MOAB dose.

I have been using Hammerhead for 3 weeks now and noticed a difference in bud swell started since week 1 after 2 weeks transition. I started at 2 ml /gallon and have increased it per week now at 4 ml/gallon I'm running PBPG soil at 50% which is best for Botanicare line to avoid nute burn. The Hammerhead does drop your PH considerably so just make sure to compensate. The Hammerhead hits hard, gets the job done, and as I've heard/read if you mix it with MOAB even better!:flower

Good thread and help from everyone just been observing so far but gonna give this combo a try now that hearing such good things about it. not sure if your question was answered Buddy but MOAB is Mother of All Bloom from Mad Farmer nutrients I had trouble figuring it out myself for while lol so hope that helps.
