we've been doing something like that at home. dipping buds in iso oil that still has some iso in it (so it's not complete tar) so it soaks through, then dip in kief. mmmmmm

Grab yer self a buddery globe stick! I've yet to come across something better than budder (bho done right).

Iso is crapo IMO. You can taste the bitter vapor and it detracts from the flavor quite a bit. Ethanol for oil, butane for budder!

^^^ I would agree with that. I've made some of this caviar a few times myself. It was sorta fun, very potent, but not really the best way to utilize something as valuable as good oil, hash or kief, and definitely wasteful IMO. I'd much rather smoke oil and or hash out of something that really lets me savor it, like an essential vvaaapp, a Ti pad, etc.

After using my Vapor Swing and then Globe and nail.. i was amazed how much better it was than smoking it from smearing it on buds.. Or even using just a screen and torch

Something about dabbing Wax right on to red hot titanium and the choking fit that ensues is well worth it.. Makes the Wax last a lot longer.

i love Caviar ... but it's not very affordable ... at least when you want to get down and smoke with some friends.. at $30 to $40 a gram .. it's a nice treat.. but buy some $20 hash and some bud... Lasts longer ... does the same thing...

but i do like it.. just not really something i can afford to smoke every day....

At those prices though really could find the profit in making it myself ... MMMmmMm idea


any good recipes for it? what's this magical Infusion? is it just dipped / soaked.. or do they use some vacuum machine or something fancy..?

seems soaked ... and rolled in Kief .. but they say it's infused which makes me think there's more to it maybe?

Few times I've tried it, in a bowl, seemed like I was wasting it, and in a joint, it just won't burn right, and it will drop a big resin shit stain on your bottom lip!

I like having my little vials of oils & hash, and my jars of nugs. Caviar is like pouring vodka into beer, it kinda makes both less enjoyable.

Caviar is tasty but at $10,000 a lb ill pass. To infuse it I believe that they use a pressure cooker on a low setting. Hands down the best extraction is C02. SIck powerful and 100% solvent free. Iso ruins the taste!?!? imagine what it is doing to your lungs! I will smoke BHO from time to time but c02 is the best period. Also i prefer the quartz plate to the Ti plate but then I can be a bit of a pot snob!
