I use it. In conjuction with Great White or SubCulture it makes things go nuts.

Pretty sure 1 ml per gallon is across the board application rate. I don't think it matters if you pH before/after this product as it isn'y NPK/etc.... but others may have more insight/

good stuff. Good luck!

NuNRG, I use House & Garden Excelurator and LOVE the stuff! You should research a thread that was done by FastForward. He tested the top names in root promoting solutions and H&G came out on top.

I just did a write up on my cloning method where I discuss H&G Excelurator. Here is the link:

NuNRG, I use it and love it also. I use 1/2 strength on new transplanted cuttings and add the other 1/2 about a week later. I only do this because that's how I do my whole res for the babes. I'm not sure if it makes a difference but I just keep it all uniform to make things easier on me. I also ph after I add it just to be certain. Hope that helps.

That answers my question, thanks Sky High. I wasn't sure if Roots Excel was beneficial bacteria or hormones. I have been using it with Plant Success (its a diluted Great White made from the same company) and have been having great results. I am only going to use it until like 3 weeks into flowering. How long do you use it for?

Hi, Sky High- you said you use Great white w/ the H&G Excel. Do you modify or go by label? Thanks for your input amigo. You are so right about this site NuNRG, you learn constantly. ~ Bill

They say to ph water before you add root excel....the pure acids can kill some of the bennies....Peace

If you have concerns use fulvics/humics to drop pH or a silica product to raise it.

Potassium Silicate will also slow down your bennies a bit, best to add it after nutes as a pH buffer. I noticed that Roots Excel will usually cause a 0.1 drop in pH immediately after adding to res, but after about 24 hours actually cause the pH to rise slightly.

I use Roots Excel in RDWC along with a little bit of filtered EWC tea, Great White, Companion, and Multizyme, this makes a living res go nuts and roots fucking love it. I also add a little Roots Excel to my tea brews for soil, along with EWC, Guano, either Sub-M or Great White, Aquashield, Hygrozyme, and either Floralicious Plus and/or Algen Extract.

I know the last soil chart by heart and that new one is VERY different; base nutes in both veg and flower are higher. Much higher for flower... wow. Mutli z in veg now and Roots excel being used in the last 3 weeks of flower.

That's a trip.

thats what im saying, i dont understand it for any reason except to make people use more nutes, thus h+g makes more money
not saying this to be a douche just want input

They found, through feedback from the people, that this works a bit better but...you definitely don't have to do it....If you are an experienced gardener ...you will know when to cut some stuff out when not completely necessary...The thing is that people will ask...."why am I supposed to use hygrozyme all the way through when it is the same product as Multizen? The reason was....well....they want to save you some coin if they can..... recommending not using it all the way through...This confuses people and they would say.....well it can't be a similar product if you don't use it the same way...This way makes it easy for everyone and if you are experienced, then cut out what you know you can....when you can.....This will save you money with any nute line up....Peace and good luck

Yep.... H&G Root Excelurator will grow roots on a rock. It is the shit imho. Also very cost effective with 0.3ml/l dilution ratio, which you've gotta love.
