Malodorous Among Us

Well It's time again to break soil and seed in search of greatness. I always like to pop a lot of strains at once and try to understand each plant and decide which should be kept for future runs. Plus you get to more yum yum to sample!

This round I feel is going to be special. I'm very happy to run JJ's Tre Star Dawg, Guava Dawg and 91 DUD.(6 each) Also this round will be 6 Killer Queen x DUD from Green Lantern, 6 Motor Breath from Pieces and 5 JDOG x HP13 Testers also from Green Lantern.

Beans were soaked for a day then put into paper towels till most taps squirted out. Got all of them into 8 oz cups of happy frog till next week.

As of right now all six Guava Dawgs, KQ x DUD and Motor breath have popped sprouts. Four 91 DUD sprouts. Two Tre Star Dawgs have popped sprouts, one just coming up yet all cracked (I want more!!!!). The JDOGS are not doing to great, only one cracked throughout the soak and wet paper towel. I will note the JDOGS were defiantly damaged in transit to me. (1st pic) Seems they got pressed on at some point. Not all is lost with one little one popping up with its shell on and seems two have cracked in the soil.

So lets hope a few more sprouts get their heads out of the ground. I hope to get around 18 girls for a 4 x 8 2k flat soil full H&G line grow. No vert this time. I love vert but for seed runs and testing; Flat will let me tend to and examine each and every plant. Dialed clone runs in vert is where its at. Got a full room this time and a extra 600 watt I'll be making use of shortly.:evilgrin0040:

Guess that's about it for now... This is just getting started. I hope to get these into Flower in about 5 weeks. We'll see how big they get.

Thanks Shiva, I'm pretty stoked for every bean going here and all the extra space to work with them. That and got a bucnh of Star Dawg 4 & 5, Alien Fire and White guava clones veggin for a coco run. That I'll get some pics of a little later since that will flowered out by a friend.

So yeah, all I know for a fact is I will need upgraded odor control! This stuff is gunna be abhorrent!

Seem the whole dam lot got smashed pretty bad. And the one bean that started to come up just stalled right out. The shell was stuck up very taunt and is just not going. So sadly the jdogs might not get a show here. That just flat out sucks for the whole test run.

Not sure what the material was but it was packed well into it but it wasn't strong enough for what happened in transit to them. They should have been fine, it was just bad luck.

The cracked beans killed me, stinks. I do want to keep certain males for a pollen chuck or two. I did keep a White Guava male that was awesome, but if you can believe it the fan plug slipped out of the plug in the veg box and it got fried along with moms of Star Dawg #5 and #4, white kush, Alien Fire, Strawberry mango and my two White urkle phenos.

All of those genetics perished in a few hours that I was not there. So the good thing is I had a back up mom of everything but the white kush and white guava boy. Those are large and healthy and giving good clones. So I lost the one boy I wanted to keep. I still have 8 beans of WG to pop later on so I'll live :)

Any hoot a little Update; almost 8 days old and all the takers look great. The guava, KQxDUD and Motor Breath are chuggin. I have a late popper of Tre Star Dawg so there should be 4 to grow out. One KQxDUD stalled for a few days but has started growing again. I'm sure it'll will catch up.
