caregivers of america and absolute herbal remedies got raided this morning, dont know the details but i know both spots offer grow rooms as well as dispensary services and ive heard that your only allowed 99 plants in one building so may have something to do with that?

right on brother! sad to find out there were some shady things going on, theres no need for greed with the herb and it makes everybody else look bad. what i dont understand is the local and state law enforcement being in on this, arent they supposed to be upholding state law? and the prosecuting atty keeps saying any and all dispensaries in mi. are illegal under prop 1, as far as i know the issue was never even discussed as far as legal/illegal. whatever finally got my card today and it feels good :rollj:

People need to read the law and understand it and they will not have any issues. As a caregiver I'm saddened everytime I read about the police kicking in a door because they are getting fed up with people who are playing in a grey area of the law. Really? Thinkin more or less it got written by a small group of peeps, figurin on what they could get passed & not... compromised from the start. Maybe even creating grey such that certain things that couldn't get passed on face print would be exploited & tested at a later date.

Yeah but there are very few jobs right now and MMJ is a way for a lot of people to make a comfortable living on their own. It's not greed, it's financial hope where previously there was none. There is nothing wrong with selling cannabis. It should be 100% legal to grow and sell and use.

alls the dispensories are doing is lining there own pockets. was kinda nice at first as i was in pretty tight with one.
but now they dont want to pay you shit for your stuff. but yet they still sell gr for $15-$25 so they making theres.
the owner of this dispen that i was cool with also owns a hydro store very near my home.
and im cool with most of the workers there. and more than a few of them have told me there bringing in stuff from col. for dirt cheap like $1800lb.
dont no how true this is but again there still makin money hand over fist when they resell in there shop for $15-$25 gr.
not to mention the clones there selling and the classes there giving and charging for and they even have a day that there doctor is there. setting you up to get your card again for a price.
now alot of these guys are gonna walk away with some nice cash ie the ones that dont get caught.
bottom line i dont support these places and ta save my soul cant figure out how any smaller growers would want to
i no alot of members that talk this way are flamed and called greey. well i aint tryin ta lie yea its about money for me. but its something that i also enjoy very much.
and when you use the word greedy toward me lets be real i drive a 2003 silverauto trk thats still not even payed for.
live in a very modest home which by the way the bank still owns.
ive been doing this shit for along time and if i was truly greedy i would have been charging $350-$400oz.
not sayin i could get those prices now but i sure coulda from 1995when i started right up till 2007.
and had i done that hell id have 4 or 5 trucks/cars paid 2 to 3 houses paid. now to me thats the greed coming out and i never did it like that.
i was always happy with the moderate life me and my famaily have enjoyed. though the years i mentioned above 1995-2007 i never charged more than $250oz

but yea as far as the clubs go i dont need them and dont want them. cuz im tellin ya there the ones that are coming late to the party and are gonna be leaveing with bags of money.
and dont forget putting alot of us smaller growers out of buessiness.

IMO, if a dispensary is purchasing out of state meds, then by all means you should post who they are and then they should be boycotted !

Its an unfortunate byproduct of our industry. Im sure CO was full of Cali flowers when their law passed; its simple supply and demand.

Oakland County prosecutors office said the caregivers of america investigation was strictly at the federal level. Additionallly, the Coliseum strip club was also raided.

I am hoping that dispensaries here would be honest enough to at least have a michigan grown board.

the facts weren't really laid out as to why the dea was involved.. this was a seedy operation, who knows what they were into on top of the marijuana. most that have been raided and shut down were by michigan law enforcement, and understandably so. you know, it being illegal and everything to just sell it to any card holder. hopefully that will change, but until then, might as well fly as straight as possible. or not, heh.

LOL! Sorry makes me laugh when I here people knock Cali weed coming into there state! First off there is alot of poorer grade in Cali these days ,it`s because of all the newby growers all the time but we still have the dank also.As far as not letting Cali weed into your comunities that`s what`s funny cause most of the states getting Cali weed can`t grow enough to meet demand. You just don`t have the weather for it! I think you should grow as much as you can yourselfs and when that`s not enough to meet demand insist in quallity! That`s what I`d be doing if I were from some of those northern states.Anyway it`s not like you are importing product because we are all Americans.Alot of people in the UK would love to get there hands on some good Cali weed! I know,I exported there before and they ate it up!
