Actually the actual medical rec is what holds up. The registry is just that- a registry. Don't care what ya heard. Its that way in any med state when it comes to court- valid medical records and necessity to medicine- and a good lawyer to connect the dots.
And from all the hoopla, it still comes across to me if you are caregiving period- you'll eventually need to register. I'll pass. Don't think its just under 5 bro, thought that was covered in the other thread. The 5/36 is just the supposed max for registered caregivers at a grow that must be registered. Have you seen the new registry renewal forms? They require you to put an address even if you are growing for yourself...and you "must" clarify if you are growing for yourself. Seperate boxes for being a patient, having a caregiver, choosing a dispensary and/or being a patient who grows for oneself.
And honestly, don't know how you can deny what TK has been saying from recent experience (check other thread where he discusses visits and having valid medical paperwork/rec).
Things will start to change because of rights and open registry. Many other states are already trying to implement the fact that patients only need a valid rec and that registries are unsafe for patients and constitutional rights. You may not drive around the city much, but I'd also prefer to keep my name off of something that LEO may be able to pull up on a dime when checking plates, stops or whatever... i tend to stay away from things that violate my constitutional rights to my medical privacy.
