I have never encountered a police officer even as remotely cool as the officer in the first video, so that's the closest thing I have seen to a good cop. :giggle

In my 30 years on this planet, I have not had one good first hand experience with a police officer. I am sure police do things to help people on the daily...but I have never experienced that personally.

although to be fair to the cop in the first video, several people had called and complained that there was a person on the sidewalk with a gun... its not like the cop just rolled up on the guy to harass him.

That cop had a few brain cells. He knew he could not charge him with any crimes. If he had tried they'd be thrown out. I still can't say he's a good cop as there are no good cops IMO. The few cops that try to be "good" are soon ostrasized by the pigsters...and either set-up, harassed and finally forced out of the Goon Gang.

IMO, that cop was still violating that mans rights. Taking his pistol, hammering him with questions, bullshit lecturing about safety, etc.

Again, I believe that you should never talk to a cop. It will piss them off but if you are follwing the bullshit laws they can't charge with anything. They can beat you up and haul you to jail but any charges they TRY to make on you will be dropped.

ALSO..its a fact cops act much differently when they know they are being taped. Google "Cop Watch."

This cop is cool as fuck. No power trips at all. Fully empathetic to both the situation and the individual being questioned. Clearly the guy with the camera is some bored, useless, teabagger nutjob trying to cause problems, and still he treats him with respect and patience. Obviously he is the one cop in America with an adequately sized penis. This cop should be a trainer!

The cops are why I won't even drive through Ohio anymore. I will never step foot in that police state again. If you have an out of state plate, and get pulled over in OH, they can require you pay the entire amount of the ticket with your credit card/cash right there on the spot without a trial or conviction. If you don't, they impound your vehicle and arrest you. I know first hand because it happened to me. I called their bluff and spent 50 hours in jail in Toledo. My car was impounded and searched. My property was totally destroyed. Luckily I had NOTHING illegal on me or I would probably still be serving time. I consulted multiple civil and criminal attorneys afterwards and none of them would even take my case because they said no laws were broken and implied I was an asshole for not just paying the $150 ticket on the spot. Ohio is the worst state in the union IME.
