Thanks Goo! I think I got those jars from a craft store like Micheal's or something years ago. I believe they were with the airbrush equipment. I like storing my beans in glass.

Yeah I put a little rice in the small jars, then some rice in a big mason jar which i put all my small jars in, then those go into a black plastic bag in the veggie drawer in the fridge. Better safe than sorry.

what up peeps! :hi going to post my first grow log here. i won't be updating all that often as i'm quite busy but i'll do what i can so please don't get pissed if i don't respond to questions and comments right away. i'll post some pics so you all can get a feel for what i've got going on. i've got two rooms side by side, both 9x14, one side for veg, moms, 2 reservoirs (brute trash cans, one for veg and one for flower), clones and a work station and the other side is a 4k flower room.

VEGGIE ROOM

in the veggie room (9x14') i've got my moms under two 600 watt hps magnum xxxl's, run with quantum ballasts, exhausted with a 6" fan. 3-10 gal smart pots depending on size and mostly in happy frog soil (sometimes i put 'em in coco for kicks). 8-10 moms total.

i do a little bit of cloning but it's basically a production set up. as far as clones go i have a 5 shelf rack. each shelf has a single bulb 4' t5 and the top shelf has an 8 bulb t5 as you'll see in the pics. the newest clones start at the bottom and work their way up as things progress. once un-domed they get to bask under the 8 bulb t5.

i have another shelving unit in there for my pre veg and/or my up and coming mothers as well. it's only one shelf and an 8 bulb t5. also i have a portable 11,000 btu ac in there and a couple fans (one wall mounted and one pedestal)

flower room is 9x14 as well. i am running 4x1000 watt magnum xxxl "ochos", run with quantum ballasts and hortilux super hps bulbs. i ran a-wings last run and i didn't like the hot spots i had to deal with and i don't have the highest ceilings which caused problems so i switched back to the magnums. i'll be venting them soon. my merlin garden pro r/o and tall blue pre filter reside in here as well. for intake i have a 10" vortex fan that is filtered. for exhaust i have a can 100 carbon filter hooked up to a 12" vortex fan. i've got a 20 lb co2 tank hooked up to my sentinel chhc for co2 immersion during late veg and all through flower. i have a 2 ton frostbox split ac in there which works great, 3 wall mounted fans and 4 11" box fans (one in each corner).

6 plants per light (24 total), roots organic soil in 5 gal smart pots w/ 54" tomato cages.

Day 35/36

Well I burnt the living shit out of my Madman OG's somehow...Mendo Afgoo and Blue Dream fans are yellowing and eventually becoming necrotic. Not sure what's been going on but I think I might have had a hot batch of Connie??? My Platinum BK's look fine though? None the less I have switched back to organic nutes and have lowered the temps substantially. I get two VERY different readings from my thermostat for my AC and the sensor on my CHHC. I'm actually looking at a 7-10 degree difference between the two and it took a while to catch it. I'm guessing that my CHHC is far more accurate than my AC's thermostat so I'm basing temps off of it's readings from this point forward. Any input would be much appreciated.

What up brotha! So, I have been having the same yellowing, neurotic issues on my Rm kush and sage. My issue has slowed/ stopped though after a nice HEAVY flush and re-stabilizing my soil ph. I discovered through the help of a buddy that my gh ph down was actually raising my soils ph ( hard to think, but was true. Caused by critic acid raising the potassium levels and basically made my soil neutral) so I hit them with a 5.3 ph gallon of water (using advanced ph down) to really drop the soil ph from 7.0 which it had climbed to , with 10 ml of carbo load after 15 gallons of straight ph'd water ( with gh ph down, this is when I noticed the climb) , followed by a gallon with a heavy nitrogen content and BENNies also at 5.3 and BOOM, problem solved. Now back to 5.8 - 5.9 ph.Not saying to do exactly what I did, but try a nice heavy flush and check your soil ph, could be off. Let us know what happens. Good luck brother! I know I will get a few questions about this comment, lol. Peace!

Thanks for the input Motiv! I've been checking my soil ph and it's good so I'm thinking it's over fertilization. I burnt the living shit out of my Madman OG's, the Grape Ape is doing good, the Blue Dream and Mendo Afgoo got a lot of early yellowing and the Platinum Bubba is completely unaffected and doing great. I was using AN and and I think I just over did it. That Connie is some potent stuff, you've gotta be really careful with it. I've since flushed a bit and switched back to organics, the yellowing seems to have slowed a bit. Only one more feeding until flush so I'm not going to waste too much time troubleshooting at this point. It's not the best or the worst grow i've done so I'm not too bent out of shape about it. To be honest I'm really looking forward to getting this one out of the way because I'm so psyched to run a bunch of new genetics next. It was one of those live and learn grows which is a bit of a shame but I'll still end up with some fire none the less. My environment is dialed I just have to quit experimenting with nutes and focus on dialing in my organics.
