Don't believe it's available through a seedbank, although not truly sure.
It's a Humboldt clone that floats around, not the most special, but it is resistant to
All Of The Above...on the bug list...lol

Straight up. Good friend of mine got a nice lil QP from his uncle back during my junior year in high school, all I remember is that we liked the name "all of the above" because it had it all.

trichs, ORANGE ass hairs, dense, low leaf ratio, stank like SHIT and stunk up the room, even a g. it just had..."all of the above" it was perfect lol

never knew that name related to the strains pest tolerance! thats legit lol.

I have a blueberry and a mango ( both sativa leaning and purple/woody stemmed) that were totally unaffected during a skirmish with borg recently. All other plants in the room except these had crawlers and eggs. I slacked on IPM and paid for it..

I have a ton of varieties- too many for my own good, really- and I've noticed that some are more resistant to spidermites and others are more resistant to powdery mldew. The reason this struck me was because none of them seemed resistant to both...

I will comment on the4 Master Kush, at least the SoCal Master is NOT resistant to mite. THey love her. The Purple Pineberry was fairly resistant, just didnt ever seem to have more than a few localized stippling. POW from Hazeman seem to be resisting the borg fairly well also

Ah the aota brings me back to the days too, I remember it being very citrusy, I wonder if that's y the mites don't like her as much, some miticides have orange oil and stuff like that in em.

i also have what i think is a blueberry kush, and they dont seem to like that too much, not as much as say my hashghani's or super critical haze. but ive heard mighty wash is the bomb for getting rid of the mites.

I have to agree, they usually aren't resistant to all things. I used to have a blueberry(it was very kushy also but not sure it's the same one) that mites didn't prefer, but the PM and mold loved her.

I've ran approx. 50 strains in the last year and here are the mite resistant stand outs (In order):

Alien Dog
Green Crack
Orange Crush
Northern Lights
J1
GHS Cheese

Here are the strains that got hit by mites the hardest.....in order:

Sour Diesel
Alien OG
Sour Aliens
White Rhino
Plat OG

Mites are definetly genitics related. They are in every garden, it's just a matter of how many.

PM is another story. Best overall strain for mite resistance/mold resistance? CaliConnection's AlienDog! I love growing CC's gear.

Happy farming!

The pheno of the AlienDog dosn't get mites on her thick, shiny, waxy, sexy leaves. For me, it's a big deal not to have to spray or bomb.....not to mention the constant attack on the plants.

I'm all about finding and breeding mite resistant strains....mites jack our crap up if we don't stay on it ALL the time.

Less cost
Healthier plants
Less work......... = nice

Hey All!! I had a pheno of Nebula that mites weren't fond of...

from what I understand they don't like high humidity and low temps... In the winter my night time temps drop to the mid to low 60s and they shut the hell down at that point...

neem oil works too with a drop of dish soap.. but it isn't just one application.. have to apply it at least 3 times, once a week.. to disrupt the breeding cycle (preferably during veg as well)

I have also used SNS217 (veg side only) I have sprayed it on early stages of flower but the pistils didn't care for it too much.. It crushed the majority on my veg side in a few short days.. the rosemary oil cuts through their shell and exploits their weak sides... and also does a number on their eggs... safe for you and your pets as well...

All in all I haven't found a end all be all solution for "the borg" other than a clean grow op, and healthy plants to combat these miserable little pricks!!

good thread though!! :cool0019:
