What up Farmers?
after a long time with the UC in this room and having some specific recurring issues, i had to re-evaluate my growing style in order to stay inline with my financial obligations.
so the logical choice was coco in smart pots. these are 7 gal with about 40% chunky perlite, 30% coco chips, and 30% roots organics coco palms. this transformation was done over a weekend basically on the fly. so i got some 20" water heater drip pans, sat them on the UC bucket, and drained all them down the middle just like in a mpb setup. i took my top off rez and and my recirc pump and bought some hydro halos and a short cycle timer and some pvc and plumbed it all up with ball valves at each plant. i eventually made little stands for the pots so they could fully drain. i even reused the tomato cages from the UC.
the room:
11 x 18
4 1k MH
4 750w duals
4 750w HPS
2 ton split
2 ton window
grozone controller and green air co2 burner
titan eos-1 with ideal air humidifier plus an older console as needed
65 pint dehuey
55 gal rez chilled with a jbj 1/4 hp, an ap-100 with an 8" disc for air, and each plant has a 9" hydro halo pressurized with a danner mag 9.5. also a watergate to prevent any siphon leakage.
Nutes:
H16 a+b
H16 Prime
H16 Fire
H16 Foliar
Bloom Silica in veg then as ph up in flower
Roots XL
Caps Bennies
