First and foremost no disrespect as my daughter has a condition that mmj is a life saver.

Now with that said I am a baby boomer and probably a poster child for a red card in Colorado. Just name it and I got it. (nothing bad) But I must say that I just like the feeling of getting high. Remember the commercial "this is your brain ;)...this is your brain on dope . Well I do and I like the way I look.

Sure it helps me sleep and keeps my mind in line, sometimes, but in the end I JUST LIKE TO SMOKE DOPE!!!!

Unfortunately I also have a laundry list of qualifying conditions. I'm like you. What it really comes down to is that I just like to get high.

I dnt smoke dope I smoke cannabis.

It is impossible to use cannabis without gaining benefits be they medical or spiritual. Even if you think you are just smoking dope, you are benefiting your body and soul. All cannabis use is medical is what I believe.

Like I said, no disrespect to all who need cannabis for medical reasons. But the term MEDICATE is overused in Colorado. For example, was sitting having a beer with a few friends last weekend when two of them got up and said they were going outside to medicate, funny I thought they were going outside to get HIGH!! So I went with them. I don't understand when I came back inside I was stoned not medicated. lol

Like you all, I am a passionate cannabis enthusiast and smoke it for one reason..the high. I know it helps with aches and pains and everything in between. It's a cure-all for me, but like I said it all stems from my love of that high it gives me/us.

it is kind of ridiculous how everyone says medicate now, it's just a way to avoid the stigma that "geting high" carries with it and make us look more respectable. I say what is wrong with getting high? Nobody gives a damn when drinkers say they are going to get wasted. I can't wait til some sanity prevails in human culture again. . .When we can make our own choices on what to put in our bodies and "getting high" is accepted as using a natural gift to bring us some pleasure and relief from the daily grind.

medicate is often just a pseudonym for getting smashed. more rarely is it genuinely used a medicine for people suffering from various diseases or other ailments.

Medicate for sure

I get Chronic Migraines

Actually i don't get them anymore. Using marijuana keeps the migraines away. The healing properties are constantly massaging my blood vessels so they never constrict keeping me free and clear of migraines

Pretty cool for sure

Also helps alleviate arthritis pain in my hands. If i medicate lets say right before i play a round of golf. Were all good 18 holes and minimal weakness in my hands. If i dont medicate before then i can barely play 9 holes

Gotta love TRUE medical marijuana. The Univeral wonder drug for sure :)

i just smoke for the high. i would use if to medicate if i needed to but fortunately, i don't.

haven't heard to cannabis being used for migraines before pauly. good to hear ya get good results with it. psilocybin mushrooms have been used successfully for treating migraines and luster headaches too. just threshold doses i believe.

I get migraines and I have not found ANYTHING weed related that helps. I've experimented psychedelics for this purpose as well, to no avail.

Pauly - What's your preferred strain, and how do you administer?

My prefered strains are Diesel and OG dominant varieties

Mostly through a glass hand piece. I believe this method allows you to get most out of your meds. Burning and releasing all chemical properties found within the plant

Have you tried to figure out the possible cause of your migraines. For ex. Stress, food allergies, weather ect

Unfortunately all of the above. As I've gotten older, my sensitivity to triggers has gotten pretty extreme.
