Which is a bummer cause it was stacked with good pics and some solid info.

Either way I've been away for a bit, being busy. I have been taken some pics of runs. Between Just4fun and myself we should lots of pretty things to look at. I encourage everyone to add their pics of wax, budder, glass n goo.

You using a vac setup to get that honeycomb or just amazing material + proper heat tech? Looks like we have similar tastes in consistancy. Heres my most recent batch, 30g's of some Afgoo ;)

Hey hellmutt, spent the better part of the day running through some trim and had some problems...getting a honeycomb shatter but I cant get er to wax up at all! First time this has happened in probably 7 runs! Honestly think its the material, least trich covered trim i've used so far. GOOD material seems to wax up soooo much easier. :)

Heres some shots, right now its a honeycomb shattttery goodness, its sitting out all night on a seedling matt, seeing if it'll wax up if not ill try a whip, usually dont like doing that, might just move it onto parchment and call er done....

What about the tane you used? Was it any different than your normal stuff? I had a "bad batch" that would not wax up on me and I think it was due to the use of a lower quality butane probably with a high content of propane. The amount of tri crystals shouldn't have too much of an effect on the end product. I mostly use trim that has been tumbled to remove all the crystal before I wax it up.

Now after the seminar on BHO at the SF Med cup, i would add that they said that different strains will yield COMPLETELY different profiles of wax so maybe it was the strain? Have you ever did a batch with that flavor before? i have been waxing with the same strain for almost two years now.

Oh and Damn HellMutt! That shit looks sweet! How do you get that super dry powdery looking consistency? That has got to be a vac purge eh? Or are you getting that with just a water bath and if so then what temp and how long if you don't mind my asking! I want my stuff to be that dry!
