Nice work on the grow cab! Can't wait to see how this goes. Love the KISS regimen you run. I'm quite similar. Water n Base nute. Can't go wrong lol!

Whats up 619ster! Glad to see ya around. Yea bro, sometimes less is more you know. But if I had the cash for it I would go with gen hydro 3 part with cal mag and koolbloom.

Thanks catdaddy, I built this cab for my last run with a couple of Kromes white bagseeds. It looked a bit uglier last run. Now this run, I added panda film to the inside of it.

Im not sure what the kiss regimen is, but Im thinking it might have to do with
Keeping It Simple = K.I.S. but im missing an S so idk lol. stupid? i think ive heard that one before

ok and we're both on the same page. i have 3 in coco (first run with it) using gh 3part with magical. i had an issue with plants getting waterlogged in the coco (story behind it), but once they're back to good health i plan on throwing them into 12/12 asap. will let you know how things turn out when all is said in done.

You might want to add some perlite to your coco if your having water issues. Almost impossible to overwater with it. Let me know how it goes, Ive been growing in coco for a while now.

I broke one of the bulbs in the process tho :(
Ill replace it soon. Im gonna make a reflector for the lights to so its still a work in progress. Still gotta add a 4 inch exhaust fan and a cover for the back. I got it all planned out, just gotta get the materials together.

Nice lighting rig. Have you given airpots a try? I use straight coco in those and never need to flush, and never get water logged or lockouts. But yea other than that, perlite was also my solution to that when I used fabric pots. That and a bi-weekly flush.

No never tried airpots. Maybe I can upgrade to airpots for the females. Give em a run and see how it goes. Although Ive never had any watering issues either. Coco dries out too fast for me sometimes. Thanks for the input 619

I think i got lucky i got one of the beans to break ground. I left them soaking in water for waaay to long. I left em at home soakin in a water bottle while i went out of town for the weekend (first mistake) when i got back they all had cracked with little tails sticking out. Good. All of the beans cracked, but may have cracked the first day and over-soaked for 2 whole days. At this point they were good to go in the coco. Newbie me thought they needed more soaking so next I
placed them in over-soaked napkins for a week more. (second mistake) Hoping for longer tap root, not knowing all they wanted was some air, a little oxygen. So after that I try giving them some air and put them in ziplocs with wet napkins(pictured aboved) When I got close to the 2 week mark of germinating, I knew it was too long so i took them out and noticed they had were a bit brownish. I think they were either starting to rot or mold, either one but it looked bad. Close to 2 weeks in water. Deffinitely left em in water for too long but I planted them anyways just to see if they still make it.

So far 1 Acai OG is a survivor. I need more experience germinating seeds. Living in cali, I have always found it easier to work with clones, but we all know the risks we take picking up clones from strangers. I always had good luck tho with a couple exceptions. So I never got much experience germinating, :( i know.

I have germinated a few seeds succesfully before so I thought I had it down. I still have a few seeds left so I planted another seed of each, just in case.

All the back up beans that I planted a couple days ago are all above ground today. :) much better
Kept it as simple as possible. No paper towel germ, no soaking. Just planted directly in the coco, and had seedlings popping up in 2 days!

Pics coming

Subbed for the show and fwiw the paper towel method is really quite simple - paper towel cut in 4 two three down mist with distilled water add seeds , then another few sheets of paper towels , make sure damp not soaked and in 24-48 hrs should have tails (dont have to be monster tails ) add to dirt , that way you know the seed germed and should def pop. If you put the seed in dirt/coco with out germing you will never know if it popped , could be a bad seed .....this is just mho.... good luck on the run , really interested in the sour patch might have to grab a pack , sounds good .....peace soser

Very true soser. Good thing all of the beans popped this run. 100% germ rate. They all have to grow out of their shells but there above ground with a tiny stem so I know they popped for sure.

Bro, Sour Patch is where its at for me. I love Sour Diesel but it has its cons. Long flower time, alot of strech, and judging from the sour d a buddy grew, it grows thin colas. The Very Berry Kush will help with all of that.
-Shorter flower time
-Less Stretch
-Increased flower size
Lets see what I find :)
