First off it was the civic center rally downtown not the cannabis cup that got shot up,

By a fucking 22. You'd have to get a shot point blank to the head to get hurt.

Oh my god, one person with a gun and its a reason to "stay in the hills?"

Wow, you must live one hell of a fckin sheltered life. The world is wayyyyy crazier than one dude w a gun, out of tens of thousands.

Dude there were tens f thousands of people and one dude w a gun.

Just saying statistically you probably have a better chance of a tree falling on your house than you getting shot.

I'm sure more fucked up shit happens where you're at on a frequent basis too, but ONE GUY w a gun, I don't know maybe I'm just from cities so I don't see it as a big deal.

Plus, not trying to be rascist by any means so don't take it that way(cause I am white)

But it was a black guy shooting the place up. I have yet to see a black dude shoot up a social place like that, it's all white people.

In the end you can twist this anyway you want, but its a dude w a gun, they are everywhere. You don't have to be scared unless you fuck people over that have guns or if you really have been so sheltered your whole life a gun is a scary thing.

I envy you if that is the case.... I've heard seen saw wayyyy more fucked up than a trAiler park boy shooting off a gun.

Walk into a pet store and see 10+ shot to death and a dude hanging from the rafters.

Everyday thing in other parts of the world.

But wait lets say fuck cops yet whine about a little bb gun and expect someone else to protect us!!

I don't wanna get deep into this but a 22 year old should be thinking about the future and living life!! I'd expect a fucked up older person with no foreseeable future to do this. If the youth are doing this, we got issues...The fact that anyone is doing this is not good, CO population is nothing compared to many other states that had events on this holiday.

Ya this isn't the first time a rally at Civic Center Park ended up with folks shooting. Wasnt last time the one where off duty cop stepped in and got shot? I remember first year I went there were some gangbangin fools poppin off at each other too. I see gang kids fighting about every other time i hit Lodo for dranks on weekends. Though its definitely a shame, no reason to not go to an event.

for the record, the "shooting" was in the area that all the crackheads got pushed into who normally stumble all over CCP. And here's the really funny part - a dag attacked someone, so the dude pulled his .22 and started shooting at the dog. That's why there's one dead dog and a bunch of people shot in the foot. Fucking hilarious if you ask me! Especially since the actual cup took place in a ghetto where you get shot at for peeing in an alley...

besides a head shot to the cerebellum, a 22 caiber can easily be fatal (think about a shot to the heart, lung or a major artery)

also how about a 22 bullet into the spinal cord? Like a non-cerebellum head shot you may not be dead but you'll be a veg or a paralyzed. (and possibly wish you were dead)

I feel you on the .22 Classic when I heard there was a shooting I thought about a glock 9 being used. You would have to be a damn near point-blank range for the bullet to do real damage or an unlucky SOB. The only thing deadly about get shot with a .22 is if the bullet penetrate your body and bounce round causing internal bleeding or a head shot(in the soft part cause the bullet will bounce off the skull)
