I don't see anything that indicates Ca-. I see P-. P- all the way.

I agree. Calcium deficiency looks more like spotting. The purpling you're seeing is a phosphorus issue.

Wtf!this is what has become of my babies I ran new clean water with h202 for a couple hrs. Then removed the water and added pure dm gold a+b and .27, silica and uc roots at about 600 ppm 5.9 ph. No booster I started moticing purplish and yellowing of upper leaves after about a week of big bud and decreased dm gold amount. Flowers are pretty decent in most, but the leaves are continuing to yellow,Some worse than others. What do u guys think?

No like this..
That looks like it could be root aphid damage. And, honestly, if it were Mg-, it's stupid easy to correct. It doesn't look like Mg- to me (from what you've depicted, one pic is completely blurry), but if the addition of Mg helps, then there you go. Also, if it is a Mg-, then it's very easy to keep corrected, being a mobile element. However, right now I'm going to attach two good diagnostic tools that I use all the time, still. One is a pictographic of deficiencies in cannabis. The other is a flow chart. The only problem with them is that Ca is immobile, not mobile, so keep that in mind when referring to the chart.

I always enjoy reading your diagnoses, Seamaiden- it helps me to know what I'm looking at when I see my own ladies.

if that was from root aphids he'd know by now in RDWC - there would be aphids floating everywhere, not to mention swarming the roots. My guess is that the roots aren't getting enough water - P, Mg, and Ca are the most common problems growers see and they are also all most commonly caused by root tips dying from dehydration. I know underwatering is not a problem usually with RDWC, but just see if there's some reason your rootmass may be drying out. Every time my plants look like that it's becasue I fucked up watering, letting the plants droop even once can damage them for months. The only problems I saw recurring in my grow were leaves that either looked like that, purple stems, or mag def. All those problems went away when I paid more attention to how much/how often water was getting to the roots (and for the record - i've changed environments and nutrients multiple times since I started dialing in my watering - haven't had any problems whatsoever.)

Maybe he meant thrips..dunno..We Solidarity is onto something though..especially considering it seems to be local to just a few by looking at pix.

Thanks for all the feedback.yes sorry I meant thrips not aphids. I don't think I have root aphids. And i think the plants affected the most are getting too much water, due to the system design. when the pump sucks the water from the system it draws too much from the end buckets. I think I need to reevaluate my enviro and system. I always was running sterile but just changed it to a living system.well see what happens.i think I need to address the system design flaws, before making too many changes. Thanks again guys, ill keep u updated.
